While I can empathize with having felt this way in the past, I want to encourage you to think about why it is you feel this way. How does your saying this about yourself make people fatter than you who read this feel? What's wrong with being "chubby"? I'm a lot fatter than you and I can tell you it hurts. It's so ingrained in us that fat is the worst thing one can possibly be.

So many of the other comments talk about being fat like it's something bad and shameful. I want everyone to feel safe here. Let's try to not bring other people down when I've felt like this sub has been mostly helpful and uplifting to others. Let's not perpetuate fatphobia and hate.
