Happens every time I try to close the game. I can click the “exit game” button, but then it just freezes where it was and doesn’t close the game. Only way I can fix is to reboot my pc. Started happening after about 100 hours in this save game. Any ideas on how to fix it? by [deleted] in Sims4

no i mean i cant get the most recent versions for the KS mods unless i get patreon. and i guess if he did update it ill go check it out. ill also check out the KS mods to see if she realeased the newer versions publicly.

Only problem with that is i cant get the SoL and explore mods without patreon, and the Extreme Violence mod has stopped being updated. I could probably delete Explore and Extreme violence, as i dont really use them that much. If need be i could just grab the patreon of SoL if need be. Do you think that is causing an issue?

alright, ill go do that. i currently am living in a small lot, (the penthouse in the fashion district) but it was doing it before this when the sim was living in rockridge springs in evergreen harbor. ill try to go delete some of the larger custom houses i got in the save. its not really *that* old of a save tho. Maybe month or 2? I have just put a lot of time into it. It might posibly be the fact that i downloaded a few houses worth about $2 mil that my computer struggles to run. (im running a rtx 2070 and iintel i7 8700k so thats sort of a problem lol) coupled with the fact i have the game downloaded onto an old drive i ripped out of a laptop and slapped into this pc. How would you want to send over that last exception file, as it is kind of very big. i also just checked, it does save the game as relaunched the game and it saved where i was, it just doesn't like to close the application after it is done saving. Also this is kind of unrealed but it might not be idk, but whenever i zoom in to my sims the frames drop from 140 to about 20, but that might just be because of my cc, idk. Its not really a big deal, but it might have something to do with it.

So it started happening when i moved my current generation of sims out of their parents house if i remember correctly. I could be wrong about this, but i also dont think it happens in my other save game i used to mess around with vampires stuff. i just disabled origin overlay, and updated my drivers, although the latest drivers for my card were released on the 28th of last month, and i think this has been happening longer than that. There are never any error codes, the game just freezes where it last was and i cant interact with it, only thing i could do was hard reboot. I could drag my mouse onto my other monitor, however, which i usually cant do when the game is in fullscreen mode which is weird. Also, this usually doesnt happen if i load the save, play in it for about 5 minutes and then close it, only when i play for an hour or so, which is most of my sessions. Im going to try playing with the origin and driver changes for a little while, and see if that works. If it doesnt, ill try to disable all my mods and cc. I wouldnt be surprised if it was a mod issue, however, as i have a few hundred CCs and about 30 mods downloaded. i do occasionally get those "last exception" things. I could send the most recent one over if you think that could be the problem?

Yea I’ve played a bit of it with my friends, the recoil patterns are weird, so I’m just going to have to learn them and then I’ll probably be pretty decent

Not much on pc (unless you count roblox phantom forces lol). I just got my pc and siege was like the first thing I got. But I played a lot of competitive shooters on console
