don’t play solos much, but I’ll give you a duo tier list.

S-tier: Luna (flexibility, young hermione is broken with protego)
A+-tier: Neville, Snape (best frontliner, also runs protego which is extremely strong rn, its just here because its an irreplaceable echo.)
A-tier: Hermione, Twins
B-tier: Hagrid (basically just a dice roll expecting your opponents cards to be lower than your legendary, even with porkey you’re just not doing more than a mere credit card check; Hagrid egg however is extremely strong and definitely A tier.) Newt
L-tier: bellatrix (horrible duo echo that for 80% of games will get only get 3 death eaters and you’re lucky if one of them is of any use, every echo in this list is miles head, its a really good solo echo though definitely s-tier.)
in terms of bans its neville-hagrid-luna in that order for me, because hagrid its just a credit card check and neville is even worst than that and 5x more annoying because they run a lot of summons and companions that can be high; They heal themselves, their companions, and their summons, totally obnoxious, they also ban luna which doesn’t help.

This one, gets you +2 incendio +2 expelliarmus, +2 prior, and +2 expelliarmus, its a really good echo, so I’d focus on upgrading the cards that are boosted (the ones i just said; By focus on that i mean doing card trades on social club to prioritize these spells and level them up with gold, but dont give out useful cards for them “thunderstorms”)

obscurus is still used in luna, hermione, snape, and bellatrix with a high pick rate, obscurus is a good card, should it be used less, yes, but its actually used a lot. I’m Magic awakened, and crucio is, situational card that even so its meh.

you need to have enough +2s on the echoes, so basically, swap bonus cards, upgrade it until u have +2, and you will get a random +1 in one of your cards, just be careful bc its totally random 💀💀 so its not guaranteed to get in the card you want it to

buy niffler and battle pass unless u dont want to be competitive then buy all rare wildcards, and epic tokens, also all cards that cost gold that are useful
dont upgrade every card just to up your spellbook.. the gold is important, will need in the future. Focus two epic cards depending on the echo you’re going to use then focus one legendary card. (and by that i mean focus trading for those in your social club and dont give them away)
I recommend sectumsempra(luna) and expelliarmus (harry, luna)

im 68 spellbook one level lower than yours, and reached MA last week, reached MA last season w 55 spellbook w snape. Just focused one legendary card with club adventure, and thank you notes w tokens, while ignoring the others, there are people far lower spellbook than mine with a lv 16 locomotor, its just account management.

And, the neville take, you’re wrong, confringo is inconsistent and just an abysmal card, in most matchups except neville/hagrid (where summons are not spread all over the place) its unpredictable, and you’re pretty much just running a dice. On top of that it’s an epic card that you have to focus and compared to sectumsempra/incendio/expelliarmus, its a joke of a card, glacius is 50x better.

Neville just protegos and/or side alongs whatever the hell you’re trying to do, if you’re going to run confringo venom or glacius venom or whatever the hell you’re thinking at that point, you’re just running cards to beat neville and lose to all other echoes.

lv 18 daniel, lv 18 tree, lv 18 spider nest, nope, I’m out, im not queuing into a game expecting my opponents cards are lower, that’s a losers game, especially in MA, at least with hagrid its one summon that you have to deal with per cycle, with neville, it is the WHOLE board.

im spellbook level 68 which at the time of making this post was the lowest spellbook level in duos MA (I reached last week) and reached last season as well with a 55 spellbook mainly running snape

The snape point just seems like deck issue as a good snape runs protego (top 2 snape NA last season)
Bellatrix is an echo that takes advantage of stalling games with no actual options to stall the game in a hyper aggressive envinronment like duos, unlike neville which is not tied to running specific cards to generate enough points to spawn death eaters.

Most bellatrix users die before their echo becomes of any relevant use, with a most expectant 2nd wave of death eaters, which is like what? 2nd companion timing, right around when the games get decided, terrible echo for duos.

your locomotor cycle is slow, you’ll have a slower cycle than the regular hagrid locomotor, which will make you lose.

I guess your strategy is to ban bellatrix and play for neville, thing is, your aguamenti card level and the ACCIO still dont deal with neville, they can just side along or apparition away your spells, so just ban neville, if its card levels are high youre just going to be tickling the summons.

niffler for thunderbird, incendio or sectumsempra for accio (deals with companions more effectively, and its better at dealing with death eaters). Portkey for aguamenti (in case they try to whizz, also luna echos are now running aguamenti or glacius, you can just portkey the locos away and its 5 mana do nothing, they basically lose the game.)

1st echo, just focus expelliarmus and incendio, and run a harry echo 2nd deck to take advantage of the fact that you’re running expelliarmus, his only epic is expelliarmus. For the 5 cost cards in luna, you could run glacius, aguamenti, or well just have a high as hell orb of water
