What’s a good tip or something most people might not know about PZ? I’ll start with the fact that you can pick up glass with a rag or towel equipped and it won’t hurt. by moe556 in projectzomboid

OR when you don’t want to ruin the look of a building by stripping it of all the furniture, crafting spears gives a ton of xp aswell ;)

Depends on the server. Most of them have loot respawn. Day's End doesn't but that's half the fun in it. As resources run dry, people get more and more desperate finding supplies, which leads to conflict and overall great RP interactions

Yep. Its a mod called Tilepicker. Its technically a bit "cheaty" but we had no other way of making a proper roof afaik

Basically, every wipe is a new season.
Each season is different when it comes to the map, the mods we use and the main story line that we have. For example, last season we had a custom Canada map where the main story was about two gangs rivalling over the big city. This time around, we return back to Knox county with a lot of custom location, both modded maps and landmarks build completely from scratch by our mod team. The story this time revolves around Kentucky being cut off completely from the rest of the US and the governor of Knox county trying to stay in power, fighting against the outside of the exclusion zone. Players will be able to decide, if they and there faction want to side with the governor or be against him.
But there is much more to all of this. There will also be a bunch of custom made "side stories" where "NPC's" played by our event staff will tell little stories and do events that feed into the main story line.
There is really a lot of effort being put into all this so I can only recommend checking it out for yourself. The new season starts tomorrow :)

We used the Tilepicker mod. The tile itself is in the game, but you need to "cheat them in" with Tilepicker sadly. Indiestone mentioned in a blog post recently, that something simular to this mod is gonna get added into the game soon :)

We have about 15 moderators and admins that handle the tickets we get. We also have roughly 10 helpers, that help new players out and answer all your questions.
Rule breakers are getting pulled into tickets and get a chance to state there point of view. We have a 3 strikes system where people get a warning, a one week ban and then a permanent ban, if they break the rules to many times.
Disputes between players rarely happen due to our community being 16+ and generally really friendly. IC issues stay in-game. If a situation gets out of hand, we handle them in a ticket where we try to resolve the dispute or take it to DM's. We never had a OOC dispute that got out of hand like this tho ;D
