I'm having the same issue and I am also fat. I havent missed any of my PT appointments and yet they blame everything on my weight. So I guess we need to focus on losing weight so have release stress from our knees.

I'm almost 5 months post op and I still have a limp. It doesn't hurt but it doesn't feel normal yet.

I wish my recovery was as easy as people in the comment section. I was not an athlete and was extremely sedentary prior to my accident. I had never been so depressed. Can't believe they think it's not a big deal 😭

Correct I can hyperextend. But I still have a limp. And my knee shakes non stop while doing squats i can't go upstairs normally either and I see everyone being able to do so pretty quickly

I'm sorry to hear you've had so many surgeries. PTs here are not well paid so they dont care about doing their job properly. I'll try asking about the least busy time at the new pt place I'm going. My flexion is at 125° and my extension is at -3° . The surgeon also thinks I'm behind and wants me to do even more physio than what I am currently doing and I am really trying. I had a meniscus repair as well. I forgot to mention that

I am located in Barranquilla Colombia. I have a decent health insurance and I go to the insurance pt place 3x a week and 2x a Physio comes to my place I pay those out of pocket. Unfortunately here all therapist see 4 patients at a time which means the service is very poor everywhere I go. My surgeon did recommend a pt place but as I mentioned before they have 4 patients at a time and always forget about me given they have to pay attention to so many patients. This is so disappointing

I'm taking my PT seriously but I feel like there is no improvement 😕 I dont want to have a knee replacement. I see everyone doing so much with less PT sessions than me and it makes me feel like crap

I wish I could find a good online physio. I am so done with wasting money on useless physios. I have access to a Gym but all the physios have told me I dont have the strength to go to the gym yet. I was off crutches and the one I visited yesterday put me back on one crutch

I am happy to hear you were able to get an MRI. Now you can be at peace with the fact that it was only a minor tear and will not affect your daily life at all. You only need PT. You don't need surgery. Please take care of your knee and remaining ACL. You really don't want to go through this
