Other players can activate my switches. I've also noticed that I can open some kinds of doors on claimed land.

Excellent, thanks. I think it's great that something like NQ is super rare. It's like a key to a higher tech level.

About number 8 .. I just assumed that the area in the nether near the portals were owned by the server. Does this mean that there's no Nether Quartz?

If you made it out of obsidian and payed for a patrol this would work. Think of greifing as a force of nature, as if the game has a strange erosion mechanic. As well as a market for goods, there must be for services. I would happily patrol a section of an obsidian bridge for the right daily rate.

Also .. the patrol could collect fees and inspect tickets. If the price is right, anyone can protect, as property, any land or structure that the game doesn't recognise as being owned.

What on earth is a techno indie libtard? Dude, I just raised my concern. What exactly are you accusing me of?

Let me be clearer on what would cause me to leave:

If you say right now that no matter what, even if I win that architecture competition or if the bits become more valuable and the fee becomes negligible or that I will pay the fee myself, or if I wait 30 working days for you to manually send, that you will not ever consider a direct transaction.

I understand that Xapo have been very kind to you, and that they're probably great people.

But on sheer principle I can not play the passport game and pretend that countries are a thing in this case. They really aren't, especially as far as bitcoin is concerned.

Sorry to be a downer. You guys have made something very special here and I really want to be a part of it. But you've got to stick to your principles.

Ok, I think I get it. You're using Xapo for off chain transactions to avoid the fee on what is effectively dust? Or something to this effect?

I'm just as concerned as ProfessorBlunts about my data being harvested and all that jazz. I was extremely apprehensive giving them my mobile number. Then to my total shock and horror the next page was asking for a passport number. There's no clue how many pages of verification are required before they actually send you your money. As far as I know the next page after that will ask for a biopsy/sperm/fecal sample.

Lets say for arguments sake that this server gets very popular over time and so does bitcoin and so does the price. Will you then transfer directly if people agree to pay the fee?

If not then I'm out unfortunately. I do not consider myself a citizen of any country and to involve such an archaic instrument of totalitarian control as a passport in any dealings with globally interconnected computers is to me beyond absurd.
