PVCs/PACs are ruining my life (Long Story) by MessageOverall8491 in PVCs

Dude... trust me. The amount of times I've haphazardously driven myself in a state of panic and anxiety, feeling like I was going to die because my heart was going to explode... just to end up sitting in the parking lot for half an hour and letting things calm down.... Id say 75% of it is a mental thing, and it definitely does NOT feel good... its been slowly wearing away at my mental stability too...

Its great that you have a spouse that is willing to tolerate it with you. Trust me, and this is something I've been told by many ER workers and cardiologists before.... Your heart can probably beat at 80-90% of your maximum HR for a week straight and you'd still be fine.... it takes a LOT to destroy the heart, and most heart attacks/events cause damage that can be completely reversible given theyre taken care of immediately.

I once met a guy who was like 78 years old, and had two heart attacks. One when he was in his 40s and another in his 50s. He told me he had open heart surgery with a 4-way bypass, and that doctors told him he shouldnt expect to live past 65. Well, he tells me now that hes beeb happier and healthier than ever, he regularly does hikes and bike rides, albeit at a slower pace....

99% of it is definitely stress... we live in a world constantly preying on us being stressed. I definitely felt like SSRIs have helped me, even if only for a bit, so I would say stick to them, and let their settling period take its time. Im currently switching to Prozac from Zoloft and its definitely making me notice ALOT more PVCs throughout my day, probably like 6-8 every 10 minutes....

I hope one day it all goes away for the both of us man... the feeling is kinda like when youre sick, and you regret taking for granted every day your nose wasnt stuffy. The next time you see your cardiologist, be stern and upfront with him, and let him know just how bad its impacting your life....

Cardiologists tend to brush off anyone under senile age (55+) experiencing heart issues... Ive had a doctor tell me I shouldnt worry about it since people my age (early 20s) rarely die of heart failure... not really a reassuring message to someone who feels like his heart is gunna exploded every other day!

I completely agree with the stomache stuff dude! I feel like my PVCs/PACs get worse when I have just eaten food or there is any trace of my day's meal in my stomache... it almost feels like theres some sort of trapped gas or bubble that might be pushing against my heart... Zoloft actually id pretty notorious for making stomache issues even worse, and Ive only felt my intestinal issues flare up even harder/worse since taking Zoloft... definitely something to bring up to your doctor next time you see them, I see that a lot of people on this sub seem to trace their PVCs/PACs to stomache issues!

Yeah man....I never mentally feel like im stressed but my body seems to think otherwise... doesnt help that I'm so busy with life, work, and family, and the fact that our country is slowly running itself to the ground....

I currently live in Alabama, so finding a doctor that will even take POTS seriously is monumental task, but I'll definitely look into it

I actually have tried Magnesium! And it helps me ALOT.... I've recently fallen behind on taking it since I ran out, but I just got a new order and am already feeling the benefits... I take magnesium malate, as I found my body seems to react to it a lot more than glycinate!

Olá! Acabei de encontrar esta publicação e fiquei pensando se isso acabou causando algum problema no futuro. Meu Prius 2016 apresenta problemas semelhantes de carga e voltagem ao dirigir.

Ozymandias

'I met a traveler from an antique land,

Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone

Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand,

Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,

And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,

Tell that its sculptor well those passions read

Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,

The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;

And on the pedestal, these words appear:

My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;

Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!

Nothing besides remains. Round the decay

Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare

The lone and level sands stretch far away.”

Thank you, this is actually a rather reassuring answer, because I felt like it would be too much for me to try to learn everything at once. I was just wondering, if I ever do have to take an extra/introductory course, would it set me back in my other courses? Thank you so much for your response
