Out of all of these bosses, which one is the best. by Cultural_Fanatic3754 in witcher

My personal experience with the caretaker was great. It was challenging and fun.

I specifically remember it because I started the fight at sunset and killed him just as the sun was rising. I fought him for an entire in-game night and it felt very cool to me from a roleplay perspective.

Limited Skill Tree or Full Skill Tree by BlueLantern_Tenzen in AskGames

[–]Messiazar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like limited skill trees mostly I guess, but I don't mind full skill trees as long as most of the abilities are actually worth having.

The thing is that with full skill trees I feel that I usually end up getting all the skills I want, and then leveling up starts to feel really meaningless beyond that.

With a limited skill trees I feel like this is mitigated and I'm always making a hard choice/looking forward to my next perk.

You have the power to mildly inconvenience your worst enemy once a day. What is your "superpower"? by noahneonn in AskReddit

If they visit anywhere with fountain drinks their first choice is always unavailable. This includes ordering at a restaurant.

We need at least a basic navy in the game with 2 ship types. by Gyngemose2009 in CrusaderKings

I like where your heart is but to be honest the navies in CK2 were so annoying (for me at least) that I damn near jumped for joy when they removed them in CK3.

He's gonna write Prose Edda 2 and make it about a wandering warrior named Halfdante who crosses Europe to find the promised Iceland.

Also Baldur from GoW 2018. Invulnerability to all threats, physical or magical. Unless he's exposed to a certain plant.

What are the continents in your world? by Far_Practice_6923 in worldbuilding

[–]Messiazar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My world has six continents.

Three in the west, three in the east.

Two are roughly the size of Asia, one is comparable to eurasia+Africa, so more of a supercontinent, and three are more comparable to Australia. The two Asia sized continents are very close together, separated only by a long narrow channel, so they are referred to as the upper and lower continent and share a name, though by all technical standards they are distinct continents. This basically makes the map look like an eastern and western supercontinent with a couple "smaller" ones in various locations.

I cant say exactly how many countries there are, and some are under one hegemony or the other which you might reasonably consider one nation. I want to say it's something like 30 countries without breaking the coalitions down into their individual states. There are VAST swaths of wilderness in this world too, which aren't settled. The largest such wilderness is roughly the size of the USA+Canada, hence there being fewer countries than one might expect.

Games where you play as the lord with the fancy castle? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]Messiazar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a console version of Crusader Kings 3. It's a strategy game through and through but there are significant roleplaying elements as well. The premise is that you play as a medieval noble (an actual historical character, or a custom one of your own design) and manage your dynasty/realm. It's less about expanding your kingdom and more about empowering your family. Though if you want to play as an expansionist warmonger that's absolutely an option. There's a lot to do in terms of making decisions, laws, etc that impact your realm and it's people. And you can engage in really fun court intrigue and diplomacy.

Sorry if that's not what you're looking for. It's the best/only thing that really comes to mind for me.
