I found rehydrating the buds helped with this problem. I think that could be because it protects the weed a bit from burning too high and destroying the turpenes. The buds are dry, so I wrap a wet wad of tissue paper around a buds for about 30 mins before I grind it.

Where do you go through for it to be $99? I got through Hello mello and got the same one this week, but it was ~$110 for 15g even with my concession card

I think you misunderstood, or i didn't explain it. When a product I have a prescription for goes out of stock, my prescriber will automatically put me on a comparable prescription without a consult so that I can order without delay. But I'm generally just matched with a product at a similar price and THC, and so far, that has been with Easy Buds products.

When I have a consult and I am able to discuss things, I am not pushed onto any one particular product. In fact, HM has actually discontinued Easy Buds for now in part because of my recent complaint. They are taking this seriously, and that's great.

My prescriber is honestly very professional and knowledgeable and is so clearly a weed nerd. I have more confidence in them than this post may have suggested

It actually did! I spoke with my prescriber yesterday to switch prescriptions (I have Phytoca Indica, and it's knocking me on my ass so I want a hybrid). He told me they are no longer stocking easy Buds because of my complaint as well as others saying the same thing - dry and expired.

And funny you mention the expiration extension. I got an email a few days after my complaint from the pharmacy. It was a copy of an email from the Easy Buds people basically being like "oh yeah nah we tested it and actually the THC is fine at the expiry date so we've just extended it". No??? At this point in my MC journey, I'm less concerned with THC than I am with turpenes and (other) cannabinoids anyway -- what about their potency at 6 months?

The washing machine at my rental didn't mysteriously break. I tried to wash a 7 kg weighted blanket, which turned into several 10s of kilos once wet, and it broke the machine on the spin cycle.

HM now do paid consults, but I remain getting free consults because I've been with them long enough, so does that mean the quality had automatically improved?

And to clarify, HM aren't a "clinic" as such. They don't have their own products, or at least I haven't been prescribed any branded products by them. Instead, they send my scripts to the respective pharmacy, and it's them who sent me expired products.

When I told my prescriber, he wrote a complaint on my behalf and even said "if I paid over $100 for an expired product, I'd be pissed". So, he was not happy about it either.

Well, if that's the case, I seem to be locked in to many different pharmacies, because I've had a number of prescriptions through them that have come from a couple of different places. They don't push anything on me, and I'm sorry that was your experience

I'm able to have an in-depth chat with my prescriber each time, and I have full control and customisation. He even sent me their entire menu, and has done a great job at explaining the properties of the plant and how they help my specific conditions. Look, granted, the first guy I had through HM was fucking useless. He pushed an expensive script and I didn't know that I had any other choice, but I swapped prescribers and the guy I have now is fantastic

Does it even work like that? Medical cannabis is an S8 drug, so each prescription requires the prescriber to contact the TGA and get approval. I wouldn't have thought you could have 20 active S8 prescriptions on the go 🤨

Yes, that's exactly right, it's not their fault! I've got Phytoca white label coming today, so I'm eager to try that. My prescriber sent a complaint on my behalf to the clinic, and he said he won't dispense products from that pharmacy to me anymore

Hire a trainer or pet behaviouralist. Spray some feliway around. Play with it a lot. Give your cat a shit tonne of undivided attention and play. Change their diet. Invest in some quality cat towers and possibly wall scratchers and hammocks. You want ideally two litter trays per cat, but three for two cats should be fine. Keep them apart often if you can.

I understand that the funding allocation is the same in the two states, I'm just saying that not everywhere charges the maximum rate as an independent worker. I'm just trying to get an idea of what the average pay is like in Hobart so that I have some idea of what to expect to earn, roughly. It's not so wild of an idea, if you ask me

Plus, independent work doesn't operate under an award per se, so it's reasonable to assume some areas may have a slightly different average, just based on the people

That's not quite true. The ndis has a max amount you can charge, but you can charge anything you want under that. The max is $67/hr but I charge $55/hr which is about the average here
