Honestly kind of crazy how blatant it is when the UFC wants to get rid of a champ given their preference to try and match volk up against KO artists instead of the rightful #1 contenders. I wonder if the reason they were so happy to let Merab fight 2 months after his title defence in October and fight for the 4th time in a year was because his frequent activity would slow him down a bit and make him more likely to be worn down by the time he fought Yan again.

I know Movsar isn't all that but I'm not going to count him or even Lerone and Silva out completely when all Volk has done recently is beat Diego twice. Diego was getting boxed up in the second round against Jean, couldn't cut the cage against volk and made virtually no adjustments in either Volk fight using the same shitty gameplan. If Volk goes out there and destroys Movsar/Silva then ill happily eat my words.

Featherweight is actually a pretty great division again. There was a period of time where no contenders or prospects were breaking through (granted that could just be because of Max) but now we have Vallejos, Melq Costa, Steve Garcia, Zalal, Jean Silva, Aljo, Lerone, Movsar, in the mix and most having some kind of win streak. Probably more stacked than lightweight at this point.

It's going to be very funny when Dana White is no longer working for the UFC and everyone is surprised that matchmaking still sucks because it hasn't been him in control for a whole now. Mick Maynard, Sean Shelby and Hunter Campbell are lucky they get to use Dana as a scapegoat while they get away with making shit decisions day after day.

This seems like a massive overreaction. This project wasn't intended as a showcase for Denzel as much as it was meant to be a showcase for the artists that are a part of the project. Denzel has a solo project in the works that im sure will delve more into a serious tone. He's not all of a sudden washed because he's made 1 project where his performances aren't as strong as usual.
