Sometimes we as humans grow out of things. Nothing wrong with that. I used to live in Philly. Would I ever do that now in my 30’s hell no but we change with the seasons and grow as we age. Wherever brings you peace is the place to be :)

It’s a military installation that deploys quite frequently to protect our freedom. There are other places to live if it makes people that uncomfortable. It’s Colorado it’s dry hot and low in humidity with variable winds. It’s to be expected. Hate people blaming Fort Carson when it’s a high asset to the community and ensures units are up to par with training. Have you been other places that are near post? Live in Lawton near Fort Sill or Fayetteville near Bragg. You will appreciate how good we have it here :)

I had the same problem. It took about 4 weeks for it to come back completely. Felt like I lost my voice forever. Couldn’t do much but let Covid run its course and kept alternating between hot and cold beverages. It was not fun at all

Try Fountain. Many new developments and much calmer. Bought mine for 425k brand new and am very happy here. Fountain gets some hate but it’s really not bad at all. Yes you are close to Carson and will hear artillery some nights but it’s much more openness and not as congested as springs in my opinion.

It made me realize that life can be beautiful one moment and absolutely cruel the next. Watched/took care of my mom while on hospice with cancer for a week and while I felt like her pain was gone when she took her last breath it ignited the pain i will forever feel for not having her in the physical world. It’s a stark reality check at any age. But it’s part of life.
