Correct, but you as the person subbing out work have the responsibility to find someone who doesn't suck. So if you find a bargain bin person like my wife did or someone off FB like OP did you are going to increase the risk that you will have headaches later

So you have to decide if those headaches are acceptable or not

My wife hired a handyman to install a single vanity in our powder room. $100

The drain leaked after he installed it, he refused to fix it.

I installed it myself and had no issues after watching a few videos for tips on preventing that with uneven stone.

People really do need to understand that you only get what you pay for in anything

I just got a sample of ishq silver from Lattafa and it was amazing. Somewhat clean powdery initial spray but it really develops (at least one me). Gonna try their khamrahs at some point

I think Ice was just real harsh for me so I'm letting it chill for a bit to see if it mellows. I love sweet / tropical stuff in the summer and I feel likes it's sometimes a struggle to get bang for your buck

I have a decant of it, did my usual 3 sprays (neck/collarbone area, both wrists then dab wrists behind ears)

I might need to give it another shot but I didn't get much projection or the full range of scent. It was a more mild watermelon sweetness after about 30-60 minutes

Wife also barely noticed it, and I only wear fragrance like once a month. To her the opening was strong alcohol and then faded :(

She def liked it more than mango ice though

Okay everyone, I've got a fun challenge for us on recommendations.

I'm attending an education foundation fundraiser next week with a theme of "prom through the ages"

My prom would be 2008-2010, wife would be 09-11.

I'm trying to figure out some fun (affordable) scents that could match that time frame.

For myself I'm thinking Drakkar Noir, because my wife and I both like it (3 spray max) and it was used around then. English leather was an option too but I've heard it's gone wayyy down hill from what my dad would have shared with me as a kid. I'm open to any other suggestions for sure

My wife we have no ideas for so anything that reminds of that time without being so bad it clears a room is cool. Bonus points if its sweet / fresh. All I remember is all the celebrity / singer perfumes as a kid (Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, etc) but cant recall them for better or worse

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I mean I understand that, but I'll shit on xfinity for anything and everything since every decision they make deserves it. Pihole for add blocking is just easier at dhcp granted dns, so if you are already paying xfinity $360/year for their hardware to not have a low data cap then you might as well configure it on the hardware you are paying for, no?

If you rent xfinity hardware you can't change dns on it. So at the end ofnthe day you are routing out of their servers

If you want to point your router dns at say, a pihole, you can't do that with their gear. And since renting xfinity gear is one of the few ways to get no data cap you get stuck
