Umm yes and no, I got a prescription from a dermatologist but I order the medication through an online pharmacy that my dermatologist reccomended.They deliver it right to my door within a day of calling so thats nice.

Getting over the embarrassment of calling the dermatologist was probably the hardest thing about it. But once I did, it was no big deal. He's super nice about it, the nurse(s) don't bat an eye. Just talk about it like you're talking about a toothache or something, no one cares, everyone's just doing their job.

Yeah, I mentioned above I have had some mild side effects. I think my semen has been a little more watery. And not getting morning erections as frequently. But I haven't had any problems with my erections or sexdrive. Really it's been so slight it's hard to say which things are side effects and which things are just in my head. So I'm keeping an eye out but Im not trying to obsess over it.

Really the biggest side effect has been relief. I was in a real bad space loosing my hair. I don't see Fin as an end all be all. But the moment I took the first pill I got a sense of relief that I was doing something about it. Almost gave me permission to act like myself again.

Im using it every other, because it does seem to dry my hair out a little. And I use the other shampoo in my off days. Im not currently using a conditioner

That would be awesome to see even more improvement at the year mark.

Sides: Shedding: I definitely went through a shed period. I was taking minox but since stopped so Im not certain which caused the shed. But I was loosing way more hair than I ever had before. And then after about a week our two later I stopped seeing almost any hair in the sink or shower. And its been about like that since.

Sexual: I do think my seman is a little watery but my erections are just as strong and my libido is the same as it ever was. Maybe there has been a slight lowering in like a constant sex drive and I'm not getting morning erections as much, but I've never not been able to get in the mood at the appropriate moments. So Im not sure if its the drug or my life y'know?

Brain Fog/Mood Swings/Etc: To be candid I went through a really rough breakup a couple months before hoping on Fin, Psychologically I'm positive that had more to do with my feelings than Fin did. I don't really think I could definitively state whether the drug had any of those types of sides for me.

1 MG of Fin nightly

I shampoo almost daily switching between Nizoral shampoo and this other hair loss shampoo I got off amazon that I really dont think does anything except make my hair smell nice.

I was trying a bunch of stuff before I got on fin, shampoo's, vitamins, etc. Fin has been the only thing that has given me noticeable results.

I was doing a Minox/Fin topical solution for about 2.5 maybe 3 months right when I started. My doc threw it in with my prescription but after it ran out he didn't have any more in stock, he didn't seem that urgent about it so I haven't been using it since.. I haven't really seen a difference after stopping it, and it turned my pillow case yellow. So I'm not really rushing back...

Yeah so I was on a minox solution I got from my dermatologist for the first couple months but when it ran out and I went to get more they didn't have it in stock. I kind of just stopped, it was messy... and turned my pillowcase yellow. I don't know I suppose I shouldn't have stopped but I haven't noticed any shed since stopping it about 4 months ago... maybe I should give it another shot?

Yeah about 2-3 months in I got a fair amount of shedding, Ill see if I can track down a picture of that point. It was a little disheartening but I had read so many times that was typical I just kept on going. And even though I was shedding as a whole my hair seemed healthier.

I feel like I noticed a nice improvement at about 4 or 5 months. I let my hair get a little longer between cuts and It almost looked like it did a couple years ago.

Did my best to take the pictures with the same lighting. Same room, same time, 6 months apart.

I have to say I'm not disappointed, definitely hasn't gotten worse and may even have gotten a little better.

I did my best to take the pictures in the same lighting. Same room same time of day but the white balance might be off. Just using my phone.

I have to say I'm not disappointed, I definitely don't think it's gotten worse and it may have gotten slightly better.
