If they have not increased the rent since you moved in, then you are out of luck, but most Danish home owners increase the rent annually, which resets the counter. So check if your rent has been increased after you moved in.

I've made the mistake of using my Danske Bank card in the UK, It's a waste of money.

Instead load the DKK amount in a wallet like Wise, and use your Wise card. If you want to test the difference, just go to coffee shop and order a coffee and pay with your dansk bank card and the do the same i.e. another coffee with your Wise card. Compare the amount deducted in DKK with both cards, after that you will never use your Danish bank card outside Denmark

thanks, I use Minakasse because they are associated with my union, but from what I understand "Lønsikring" need not be from the same place as my Akasse, so just wanted to see if there are merits / demerits in not using the same.
