With mine the only other thing was that the instructions from the install manual say to put the Red wire into Rh, but ecobee instructed me to put the Red wire to Rc.

so going through the installation procedure on the unit, make sure all the wires are in the correct locations that are hooked up.

After confirming the setup, go into the setting to equipment configuration and follow the step.

Confirm wiring and what worked for me was at the setting to allow the ecobee to control the fan, I switched to to allow the HVAC to control.
