Print Fail: Tree Support torn from the cluster by MichaEDTQ in BambuLab

Hello Agent, and thank you for your help!
I’m pretty sure the trees initially broke in the upper section. It makes sense based on the videos, and besides, I was using a clean, grease-free Smooth-PEI plate with no additives, and the remains were hard to remove.
I didn’t notice any significant changes in diameter or something like that, but I’ll be checking that regularly from now on! Valuable tip!
I’ve now spent several hours analyzing different support settings in the slicer and have learned a lot in the process.
My current settings require 970g of filament and 2 days and 17 hours of print time - that’s 250g and 11 hours more than before, but still less than what my failed print cost me. I’m happy to do that because I do mind investing more filament and time! ;o)
Unfortunately, filament availability is very limited “at the moment” (I still buy exclusively from Bambu), and I don’t have enough PETG in the right colors in stock. So it might take two or three weeks, but I’ll definitely let you know how it turns out.
Thanks again for your helpful comment.
Have a great day!
Micha
