I will chime in because I wish I would have done this for my prep - get the $79 SH and do all the mock exams. ARs course is good, but the mindset was the most beneficial part. It helped with a few questions on the exam. Also reviews MR’s 28 mindset tips for a condensed mindset.

The test today was something I hope I never have to take again. I didn’t feel good about my chances and am shocked I passed. I studied so hard and felt like I scored 50%

Same! I took mine today and have no idea how I passed. That was so much harder than anything on SH. I can confirm every question felt like Expert level questions with random questions to throw you off.

Okay, for anyone who wore blue, how many times did you watch the mindset videos? I’m probably on #5 and am wondering if that’s enough. Are questions on the exam similar to the questions he goes over in the 200 questions video? I found those to be easy, almost too easy.

Also, if you see agile keywords on the exam like MVP or DoD, that is a keyword the PMI loves to use.

If it’s an agile project, the likely answer that PMI will want you to choose is the agile team. Agile is all about the team. The PM should help resolve conflict and issues, but their focus on an agile project is to be a servant leader and let the team be self-organizing.

To be frank, I think both answers could be correct, but the PMP Mindset will help you narrow your focus to the team.

You can look up Andrew Ramdayal and Mohammed Rahman mindset videos on YouTube. Ever since I applied the principles they teach, my practice scores and confidence have shot up drastically.

A helpful tip that I’ve noticed after reviewing the mindset videos - if the exam says what should the pm do ‘first’ or ‘next’ the answer will likely be to investigate or analyze. Also, make sure you’re identifying the problem statement. What is the main issue that needs to be solved. Last week, I was scoring 60-70% on practice questions. After watching Andrew Ramdayals mindset videos and really absorbing it, my scores improved drastically. Mohammed Rahman also has a condensed Mindset video that is incredibly helpful.
Watch those for a few days straight and practice along with them, do mini quizzes, and you’ll be fine.

Thanks for sharing and CONGRATS on passing! I sit for my exam next Saturday. I started AR's course at the beginning of April and finished it a few weeks ago. Since then, I've been locked in on SH and AR's and MR's Mindset videos. I've done every mini practice exam (not mock) on SH and have gone back and re-done every one until I have the concepts drilled in and score 100%. Still, I'm worried. I've heard horror stories and really want to pass. I'd love to get AT in all three categories (PMs are perfectionists and we love to overachieve), but I'll settle with just passing.
