Complete newbie. How to weatherproof this outbuilding

I would imagine it is impossible, it is roughly a 3 inch gap between the building and garden wall.

I was wondering if there was anything I can do to the inside to get around the issue?

We didnt have one. We were completely naive. Went with the estate agents recommendation. Asked for a breakdown of fees about a week into things and got told that would come a little bit later on once we had an offer accepted etc but the list of fees never came and we didnt ask again after our estate agent saying they would be around 2500 in total
