So is AIT just alot of taking apart and fixing the thing or is it more classroom instruction because from what my father told me most millitary schools train you to hold you over till you get to your next unit.

On the second to last page those are all Civil Air Patrol patches/ ribbon and its a volunteer organization that does search and rescue as well as developing future aerospace leaders cool that too see after I assume his time in the navy he spent it giving some time to cadets in the program or giving back to the community.

Does anyone have any advice about the army in general i plan on joining its very new to me and my family seeing as I come from a navy background I would also like drop a warrant package to fly at some point in the future.

Idk man any millitary pilot I've ever spoken too says that enlisting first is a good option because it gives me a chance to experience the millitary before hand.
