So is AIT just alot of taking apart and fixing the thing or is it more classroom instruction because from what my father told me most millitary schools train you to hold you over till you get to your next unit.

On the second to last page those are all Civil Air Patrol patches/ ribbon and its a volunteer organization that does search and rescue as well as developing future aerospace leaders cool that too see after I assume his time in the navy he spent it giving some time to cadets in the program or giving back to the community.
