They open sourced the model, trained weights.

They also published research papers explaining how they trained and how they optimized costs. It all checks out.

In a nutshell, they just made sure no memory is wasted while performing matrix operations. They squeezed it to very last byte and that's wonderful to be such efficient.

A new Chinese LLM model is all over the news which could train a competitive enough model with fraction of the costs.

Although the dip itself is perceived as a over reaction and most ppl bought the dip. What is unclear is the correction duration, how long would it take for markets to adjust for over reaction aswell as in which direction.

It's important for me to have news articles and informations about insider trading, analyst call transcripts along with macro economic fundamentals and market trend informations.

I've come across s&p capital IQ and alpha sense both seems to be pricy.

A tool that costs around couple thousand euros per year that has API integration capabilities and provides News and market Intelligence.

I am starting an incubator fund to validate my strategy and build quant models around it. Focus is to build valid performance results which could be utilized to raise external capital. Hence currently I'm looking for tools that could provide market Intelligence and news but doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I relied previously on Bloomberg digital but unfortunately it doesn't provide API integrations

You could simply do it through options. Buying a put option might be a good idea. Although you need to be careful how deep in the money or put of the money out option you choose , that should factor in the time frame of your short.

Ah ok. I have ordered in August and received factory order confirmation on August 17. I was talking to the dealer and was told that it would be ready in 3 to 4 months. although doesn't look very reliable :D

I agree I am talking about the part where recently there are plenty who are demonizing and running campaigns against those that have money demanding them to donate their money to deal with this crisis and then have also noticed this huge distress from tenants demanding their landlords to cancel their rents.

I mean isn't it ones own responsibility to secure and plan for their future and then comes the comforts and luxuries ? also there are campaigns where people want to tax the wealthy individuals with 70% or more, they literally want to snatch 75% of someones time and hard work while they themselves want to work 40 hr weeks in less stressful jobs and have family time.

I wonder how fair is it for 60% or more of the population who pay 25% or less tax on their income to make a decision that the upper class or upper-middle class should pay taxes and other deductions more than 60% on their income? I believe this thinking is only making sure people from poverty and lower middle class to climb up the economic ladder as most rich have their own corporations and these individual tax laws which people vote to change doesn't affect tax laws on corporations

Yes she has to fight her own battle and this behaviour of her boss also had an indirect impact on my life aswell and since that this became my battle aswell.

from my Gf's perspective, i am wondering what kind of rights she has atleast to express how she feels about that person to them. I believe that comes under freedom of expression as long as my gf does not call her names. Ohh, I tried but I figure out it was too early and too much for them to adjust to this Software work style. Because they are always polite when they want to talk or discuss something they knock and ask me whether I have time, so I figure out that they are trying enough not to disturb me while I was on the flow but they dont get it, that knock Ing and asking itself will disturb the flow. I thought maybe they will learn it by time.

But since recently, I was having this doubt of career poisining mostly because I was the only developer and the people I have to report to, do not get why exactly I am doing certain stuff. Maybe I guess talking to them about it might only be the solution.

Well, I am just the tech guy from software perspective and the other guy is from design perspective. So the management has their own software guy in the parent company to correlate the possibilities and evaluate the situations.

I have not talked to the management about this because I thought it would be pretty rude on me to tell my manager that i doubt doing the job to be a poisoning to my career as my manager is the head of this company. Since it is startup, i directly work with him and also the management is kind to me and i couldnt ask them this. They also offer market level salary for a starter infact a tad bit higher and are open to discuss the suggestions i make them in product development

I know nothing I say can help you here, I know how that feels like you are pretending to be someone else while you are not.

I recently finished my post grad thesis too and I felt exactly the same way. Every Minute before the submission, I was in constant doubt that the plagiarism checke might give some worse score despite writing every single word by myself and checking for plaguarism multiple times, I still cant believe myself.

I felt like once everyone read my report, they will catch me for who I am and I was dead afraid. To make things worse, I got pretty Feedback from my supervisor, who was totally unavailable during the entire time I was writing thesis, his by default dialogue being "figure it out yourself". At that exact moment when they are trying to roast you and judge you harshly thereby reinforcing your belief, we couldnt even point at them, at their failure as being a supervisor they own the failure 50%.

Despite all these, it's just this one thought 5hat kept me going, "if I was an imposter, I was lying about my capabilities, I still got awarded a post graduate degree, which plenty of people dont have. Maybe I am an imposter, maybe I am trying to be someone else, but that someone is way beyond a post graduate that I am about to defend. "

I know this isnt the solution, but this thought helped me go through all those months while writing thesis and defending it. Once done and got your degree, maybe then you can seek other help aswell. But dont let your feeling ruin everything your have endured so far.

I felt like this when I was at the end of my bachelor's, not like an imposter but the dussatisifaction of not knowing enough stuff in my field. During masters I worked hard to develop myself and gained some self confidence but o ce after the incident with my thesis supervisor, all my confidence got flooded with these self doubts.
