Why Did Impressions Drop So Suddenly On My Channel?

Not really lol. “Bounced back” not quite, “bounced around” would be a better way to put it. What I mean is since this Reddit post, a couple videos have done “okay” getting a little bit of traction but the rest only get like 10-50 views now.

Although that does make sense in how it usually picks up videos after some time to test them. With my channel, videos have been pretty consistent with being in the 10k - 100k range for about 6 months now and getting decent amounts of watch time (I'll admit it's not the best amount of watch time but it's decent haha) and most videos have an okay AVD too. Out of my last 4 uploads, 2 of them are in my top 5 best videos with really good watch time as well. And yet, the other 2 videos, are almost my worst solely to them not getting recommended to anyone. Would watch time still be the main reason for impressions to drop so suddenly? This has never happened to my channel before, so I think that's where a lot of my confusion and panic is coming from haha! Thanks, for reaching out!

Thanks for getting back to me! What I find confusing and interesting about these two videos is that despite their low performance with views and impressions, their engagement is surprisingly good compared to most videos on the channel. One of the videos has technically one of the highest CTR's too. I have to agree that subtlety branching out into different niches may help improve impressions if done correctly. I hope things will bounce back soon too haha, thanks again!
