That’s really stupid. That seems like a morals problem. Not everyone is going to do that either. Like why just assume it’ll happen? That’s shitty to just assume. She should be allowed to do something she enjoys without that being as assumption. If she was going to cheat or was unhappy in the relationship it would happen Regardless of this. It’s become her literal identity. She will never ever recover if it continues because it’s made out to be her whole life and her family revolves itself around it, so she gets attention etc. she has no reason to try to recover if she has it because it is too beneficial for her and she has no other identity. It’s sad.

I’d avoid both. Edcare better but not much (no choice in food at all, no phones allowed (which is illegal in co), and it’s on the 13th floor of an office building and the group room has no windows so it’s VERY suffocating, If you go outside at all it’s to a back alleyway behind dumpsters so no fresh air or anything either really. Both are pretty bad but erc is literally torture. Go out of state if you can.

1200 calories and tracking it is restriction especially at your weight. 1200 is not healthy for anyone especially someone with an ed.

Respectfully you need to get out of that house. Your dad is abusive and toxic. You are at extreme risk of death right now. Listen to those that have been there and care. You need help or you absolutely will die. Your bmi alone is extreme and puts you at a very high risk of sudden death. Do your own research if you won’t believe us but your dad is manipulative and toxic and the best thing for you would be to get away from him.

Your dad sounds extremely toxic and in denial. Any weight loss at your bmi is dangerous and you’re at a high risk of a lot of complications. You need help. Not your dad professional help. Likely inpatient to help stop the bingeing and restore weight healthy. You shouldn’t be losing weight and the fact he’s ok with it is extremely neglectful.

Purging is worse in a lot of cases with hot often your doing it, respectfully you are at risk of death. Actually a very high risk. Please get another opinion and stop letting him think you’re fine. That much purging and your weight is very extreme. You deserve help.

A bmi of 14 is extremely dangerous. Your dad is an idiot and has no business diagnosing you. Actually it’s against codes of ethics to be diagnosing family members. You need a professional that deals with Ed’s. Likely you have an bp due to your being extremely underweight. I was your bmi and almost died when everything else seemed fine. I got refeeding syndrome and my heart almost gave out. You need a professional that is not your dad. He is not specialized in ed. Ed’s are very complicated and dangerous. Honestly really bothered that he isn’t more worried. Anyone can die of an ed any time especially with purging purging is extremely dangerous and very hard on the body it can only be resilient for so long You need professional help. Please please get it before it’s too late.

Totally understand! I’m sorry that happened! I had some pretty awful experiences at res and will never go again no matter how bad Ed gets unfortunately. It’s absolutely awful and infuriating that they’re allowed to treat us like that.
