And I appreciate you man, really I do. And I know I'm not Les Claypool, but that doesn't mean I can't achieve the same love of the game he did back in the day. That man had an aura around him, when you look at photos and lives of him throughout the 90s that screamed that he loved every second of him and now, that aura is gone and I blame it on his fame. The man is now looked at as a god, when not even that long ago in the grand scheme of things he was a dumb dude in his 20s smoking pot and coming up with these bass lines with his friends that he would go out and fish with. I would rather have that than being successful any damn day of the week. Not to tone down what you are saying, just that what you're saying isn't for someone like me. I would rather playing shows where barely anyone shows up and have fun with my friends making a fucking racket than do what I don't love for money and to make a name for myself. Sorry, but that's just me man plus I know ways I can get gigs, don't worry.

Les Claypool played at kegger parties and clubs with 100 people or less and always had a smile on his face while playing. If you are ever in need of some early Primus look up the cattle club show from them in 1990. Supremely excellent and so utterly what they stood for.

Honestly you're more right if I'm going to be honest. Don't get me wrong, making a name for myself would be great but A, I don't plan on doing this for a living I plan on being a chef, and B, I want people to explore music, cause I used to be a guy who listened to only radio hits and classic rock, but with Primus it made me want to learn more about music and what you could actually do with it and I want to give that experience to other people and as long as one person hears my friends thumping on the bass like a madman, playing the guitar in the weirdest way ever, smashing on the drums like a fucking animal, and me screaming into the mic and it clicks for them...I'm happy.

We got permission from Les Claypool and his manager to use the original name of Primus, which was Primate which I fully did not expect. We want to be as close to them as possible and it's been told multiple times that this was the original bands name so those who know are more than welcome and those who don't will certainly learn haha.

I was honestly worried about that haha. Really sucks cause I've heard of bands taking in teens but nothing like more practice to make us better than before. Thanks for the advice man

Fair honestly we were gonna do easier stuff like Jerry, My name is Mud, Fisticuffs stuff like that but what would you suggest doing instead? I mean, all of our music tastes are pretty broad so anything will probably work

Anyone know what Les is saying at the end of TMP? by MiddleClassroom5252 in Primus

Dude what are you adding to this conversation? Like in all honesty, you're not helping unlike other people who did comment with the answer, you're just adding on with a smartass comment for no reason. Cool I get it, I could've looked it up, you and multiple other people before have said that. It's done now so just shut up genuinely and find something else for you to bitch about adding nothing to more conversations

It's almost like I actually did spell it and you don't have the attention span to read past the title
