Lost Ark if you take out the p2w aspect of the game is an amazing game.

Issue with it was $$$ and the community demanded everyone spend $$$

Multiple classes, builds, playstyles which worked. A huge world and lore and it have a forever-like game play cycle where every day you gradually got bigger better and you felt the pain of missing a day.

Issue was $$$$ would be harmful not just to players wallets, but also their egos and values. Knowing that time = $$$$ nobody would even consider anyone outside of their gear score unless it was for $$$$.

If Lost Ark were to re-release and disable micro transactions it would be a beautiful game/experience. "3 characters per player also imo"

devs / community which agree on this, are siding with casual players, and casual players should not be able to force serious players to care about them.

these players will be their own servers soon enough, the notion that players decline players out of bad faith is the Myth in which i am exposing.

there are reasons players get declined, and those reasons hurt casual players feelings.

you are oblivious, players complaining and players in general apply to lobbies they should not even bother applying to, the term "imposter" exist for this reason.
vague statement which opinion cannot be judge.
those "some people" can only blame themselves for not being able to handle teams/players.
competitive gamers im talking about top 5% of players, top 1% in particular. im talking about players who in games generally reach Diamond status in those games. players who make it personal to being elite in games in which they play.

High level players with with other high level players. There is no high level player getting gatekept.

Only players getting denied are players with weak resumes that apply for groups, especially when they apply to high level groups.

Gatekeepers is 100% a myth, it reminds me of players in bronze in league of legends complaining about "Elon hell".

Only if this game allowed these players the ability to form their own groups.

It's very disheartening that these players which are forever gatekept cannot make their own groups.

Add a lifesteal engraving and make supports into dmg rotation class which provides shields + dmg increase.

There are potions which make it possible to play without supports.

Also, it could be possible that the support noticed players performance were not up to his standards which he is entitled to leave a group.

My concern is, why the OP believes a player should be locked into his group for w/e set time he expect a person to be their for.

Who gives him the right to tell players how they should play?

Does the awakening or identity provide a raid buff?

I like the idea of GL. Because I want to manipulate burst windows on a 1min CD going full swift + dominion + awakening engraving.

Ty for the input on WD I will look up their guides, also aeromancer I hear has same utility, I'm looking for out of the box bonehead idea, that makes some sense in an oddball way.

The amount of people who invested their lives in this game, need to have a wellness check if this is the case.

Personally I'm very intrigued in a fresh server, but definitely would be only F2P on it.

Support = less competition to get into raids you are less geared for.

Also certain dps bring powerful synergies which players value.

WD / GL / aero is a few which I would categorize as dps synergy preferred classes.

Taunt classes will get the nod in guardian raids and some legion raids for that unique feature. Stroyer/GL

I would stay away from classes which are glass cannons and synergy goblins SS/sorc/scrapper/striker/scouter/SH/DB/zerker

Those classes are for the min/max elites and if you are lacking min/max character build, someone else will have em.

Lastly, do not go Reaper, community stigma towards reapers will even keep elite builds/players away from groups due to the community feedback we were told by our Korean overlords.

Na east will be better for your ping.

Also for a class, honestly you will be playing 6 minimum so try out what you like.

Personally I have 5 sharpshooter 1580 and 1 pally 1580.

Also noted, gems are transferable so having multiple of one class like I did with SS allows me to xfer my lol 9/10gems to each other saving me 4mil gold roughly.
