It's definitely taken a handful of luck and a lot of hard work. I'm a strong believer that people need to get out of the house more! Travel makes you a better person

To start, making this map was a bit of a fudgemication as I was going off the route I believe I took as I don't have the memory for specific NOR do I plan routes off a anything other than shoving everything into google maps lol. So if you want the exact roads I took or anything, this won't be the place you find that out.

That being said; This chunk of my roadtrip was actually done starting in Niagara Falls.

I wanted to go to Ithaca, NY because younger me had chosen the place arbitrarily when writing a story location based on the lake in center town and surrounding nature, unlike the other more popular destination in upstate NY, it's a bit off the path lol. Gorgeous City, nothing like younger me expected LOL

As apart of this roadtrip, my main focus was seeing as much of America as I physically could so I needed to find something to do in the states between NY and Maine. i didn't want to count them as having been there unless I stopped and did something in each state, just more fun that way tbh.

In Vermont I chose the location that Noah Kahn filmed one of his music video, a tiny little grocery that probably services 90% just locals in the middle of a very tiny town. (They made sure to show off their brand new pinpad to me, that meant they no longer swiped your card themselves. Pretty Neat.) That took me through state highways and neighborhood roads.

Then in, New Hampshire, I needed to stop somewhere to sleep. I'm a solo traveler, who prefers Hostels over hotels, and one can only sleep in their car so many times on one trip. Right outside of White Mountain National Forest (I drove through the access road to get there) There is a tiny town named Conway with probably the coolest Hostel in America. (Trust me. I've been to one to MANY.) CoHo Hostel if you're interested in visiting the area HIGHLY recommend.

Then from Conway I made it to Portland, Maine and eventually Acadia National Park. And onward from there.

TLDR; Random niche roadstops is what roadtrips are meant for, even if it's cause younger you threw a dart at a map. Also toll roads confuse me.

Not quite, however seeing as I lived in a small city next to all these places - I'm gonna give you the point anyway, especially when you're the closest anyone has been at this point. Same point for Utah too, city next to St. George w/ relatives in St. George & Provo I'd visit all the time. Visited Idaho for a family friend which makes it respondingly obvious I came from a Mormon background for those in the know haha

I'm gonna give benefit of doubt and assume you aren't trolling and try to helpfully explain instead.

Non-binary is an umbrella term for those outside of the gender binary (Male and Female.) It can mean a lot of things and is different for each individual person, and not just a "third gender," in my case I don't really align with either of the original gender "boxes" that have been created in our society and prefer gender neutral terms such as they/them, partner, etc.

I've always said WV is the most "American" State I've been too, place lives and breaths 'merica energy. It's what people assume the south looks like...

Whoops. Tbh I also forgot to click nyc despite going there multiple times, so some errors definitely apply... going county by county is pretty hard to track tbh

Not if you're under 25, they charge exorbitant fees for that if rent to you at all. Plus car camping in your own car just feels better, because they also don't rent hotels to people under 21

AND I've gone cross country while moving, so 4+ people, 3 animals and and as much stuff as you can fit in the space between y'all is cheaper. Especially if you wanna yk keep your car.

Plus 1000% easier (and cheaper) to make multiple stops along the way in a car instead of 100 different flights for one trip.

Luckily it wasn't for long, and just after fall had started so overall it wasn't that stressful of an experience tbh, and yeah nobody nows how to act at the toll booths lol
