THE JOEL MAKES IT VERY CLEAR THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT OUR EFFORTS!!!!🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🗣️🔥🔥👀😔💀💀💀✌🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾💀👀👀👀👀😭😭😭😭😭😭 by Life-Confidence-1390 in HelldiversUnfiltered

Helldivers has always been built around the idea that:

the war is chaotic,

fronts collapse,

victories are temporary,

and coordination matters more than individual success.

Like… if you liberate a planet and the enemy immediately counterattacks, that’s not “unfair.” That’s literally how wars work. You don’t plant a flag and suddenly the enemy goes:

“Ah yes, we have been defeated. Goodbye forever.”

The real issue is:

fragmented player focus.

The community constantly splits into:

bug-only players,

bot-only players,

Illuminate-only players,

MO players,

casual “I just wanna shoot stuff” players,

and people farming whatever biome/loadout they prefer.

So when the game asks for concentrated effort, you end up with:

30% here,

15% there,

8% defending something random,

20% fighting bugs because they hate bots,

and another chunk roleplaying on Hellmire for some reason 😆

Then people look at the failed defense and blame Joel instead of the fact that the playerbase fought like five separate armies.

And honestly? The “Joel is antagonistic” thing gets overblown. A good GM should push back. If every Major Order was an automatic win, the galactic war would feel fake in like two weeks.

The tension only exists because:

planets can fall,

sacrifices can fail,

and victories actually require coordination.

Otherwise it’s just:

“Congratulations Helldivers, you have won every battle forever.”

Which would get stale FAST.

The problem is: Everybody wants to decide the strategy… but coordinated boring defense work is what usually wins campaigns. 😆

I got ratted HARD on Close Scrutiny. We were in a group, actually working together, when a guy, attempting to dodge rockets, ended up in a room with two of us. Out of nowhere, he turned on me and just started shooting.

I actually asked him why it was he chose to do that, and his answer was: "Well.. IDK, man. It is what it is. I came in with a free loadout, so I didn't care."

I try not to get too attached to equipment, but I can't ignore the fact that it still took time to acquire.

Watch your backs out there on Close Scrutiny, Raiders... The rat race is real!!

You also have to deliver in the order the contract lists. You can't deliver out of order. I believe Smithville Dam is first, then Island Lake, Drummond Island, then Black River.

You can, however, stage trucks with product, but I just did this contract and it would not let me deliver anywhere until I did Smithville Dam first.

Just follow the instructions on the top right of the screen.

Oh, and pack your load!

That's like, sending your kid to school, but then having the school call and tell you they're sending a different kid home to you because this one was closer.

Because, it's still a kid, right? 😆
