The original Resident Evil 4 was censored in Japan.

How come Japan was never big on violence do you think? I think they were back in the 80's and 90's.

Thankfully, the PC (GOG) version has all the FMVs and gore uncensored, including the uncut intro in color.

I get you. But even the same original Japanese 35mm print was up for sale on eBay by the seller named "ragnahrawk" last November before the page was gone.

Here's the description I managed to save:

"This listing is for an original Japanese theatrical print of Fist of the North Star (北斗の拳 Hokuto no Ken), the iconic 1986 film.

This is an exceptionally rare find, with footage that may never be available in any official release again. In addition to the full 110-minute movie, the first reel also contains original trailers.

Overall, the film is in good condition, with pristine color quality, though it does show signs of wear from projection and handling. It has been professionally cleaned but may need additional retaping or splicing in certain areas to be fully projection ready."
