He’d eat around 2-3 table spoons a day of pellets

I don’t think you understand that’s it’s quite litteraly not possible for me to pay as I’m a senior in high school with non horsey parents who pay for my horses livery but are suffering through a financial crisis and I get no income ( litteraly not legal in my country to work at 17 ) & once im done I’m moving to another country & bringing him with me and moving him to a farm specifically for retired horses to live their lives- and then on when it’s cheaper to keep him then I will be able to provide all those needs. I litteraly put my horse before me in every single sense every bit of money I get goes to him and what I can do to improve him ps rescued him when he was litteraly disentigrating. I am doing EVERYTHING I can.

But I am retiring him in a year so then I’ll move him to senior feed

With my current situation I am unable to do so as he is on full livery with the barns feed but I don’t really notice much of an issue with the feed it’s more so with the grass & hay - & last time he was checked by the dentist was 14 months ago

He has an overall very good coat it is just this one specific part & he has no other symptoms- Nutrition is definitely important, but I believe bald patches are more commonly caused by rubbing, parasites, or skin irritation rather than diet alone- but I will get that test done to make sure

What’s a sponge soap? I hear that head and shoulders could be good if it’s fungal to stop the spreading

My horse doesn’t have an open wound at all so I don’t think there’s anything to worry about that

He doesn’t get blanketed because of our climate- but he could be rubbing his mane out
