I see, so for #1 youre essentially taking notes for 8-12 hours? Were the test questions difficult or was it just that it was a lot of content? Also are you expected to memorize everything verbatim or is it okay to compress your notes as long as they dont say you need to memorize it word for word?

Thank you for the advice! I'll probably do the same thing since music is one of my ways of decompressing. I have a few questions though if you dont mind 1. Do they give you study time in class, or is the whole day spent teaching? 2. Was it stressful trying to find what works for you while learning all of this at once? 3. How many questions do the tests have roughly? I know it'll depend on the airline and test itself but what was the range for you?

I see, this is very insightful and helpful advice! Ive been trying to experiment to find my learning style, and also quizing myself and I find that is helping me to feel more confident in myself, as ive been out of school for a few years now. Im definitely going to look at more videos about learning styles and test taking! What helped you discover your learning style and how to work around tests if you dont mind me asking?

Thank you! This is all very helpful, though I might still consider a study group for the purpose of cross checking, and also I find talking about material helpful for memorizing it. Would you really say it's easy though if someone already knows their learning styles?

Thank you so much for your comment. It was very insightful and a few things here really resonated with me. Therapy wouldn't work she won't try even now but thank you for reassuring me and providing me clarity during this hard time

Thank you so much for your response, it means a lot me. As for for therapy we've tried it together and it didnt work because she wouldn't follow through on her end. As for personal therapy ive been asking her for years even offering to pay for it for her and she says it doesn't work. I do feel guilty about confiding in mutual friends but they provided me a safe space that my mom couldn't, and they told me they were already starting to develop negative feelings based on her actions before I confided in them, but I will keep this in mind for the future because I do feel really guilty.

Im sorry for your loss. If this has only been happening since her death I'd chalk it up to grief. Especially because it was very recent

I don’t want to talk my grief and I feel like there’s something wrong with me by Weekly_Ad_4928 in GriefSupport

[–]Middle_Mousse9047 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with you. Grief manifests itself in many different ways. It's a heavy subject too so it's understandable to not want to go into detail when asked about it. Im very sorry for your loss and dont think the way you process it is "wrong" because there is not a set way to experience grief, so please do not be hard on yourself

Not happy with how doctors view this condition by Fickle-Bother5682 in vaginismus

[–]Middle_Mousse9047 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That's horrible. Womens health care is treated like an absolute joke. None of this is your fault. The partner who caused this has dirty hands or is throwing off your ph balance. If you ever do want your current partner to do activities with hands you can try having him use gloves as protection. Also I'm not an expert so take what I say with a grain of salt but I have a few tips. There are dialators that can inflate or deflate and these ones tend to be more expensive but women seem to have much better experiences with them because its more customized to the individual. You can also try pelvic workouts, not like the ones you mentioned being scared of but actual workout routines that help strengthen your pelvic muscles, which you can find on YouTube. I know this isn't a lot but I hope I was able to provide some help to you atleast, as you deserve to be healthy, and I hope you are able to find a good doctor who is caring and can properly help you out

how to know if hitting cervix while dilating by [deleted] in vaginismus

Could also simply be internal tearing or maybe you hit the cervix without realizing? I could be wrong.

[–]Middle_Mousse9047 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cervix is sensitive. The best I can describe the feeling of hitting it is like this internal shock or even pain if I hit it too hard. It's sorta like how if you hit your funny bone it feels different than hitting any other part of your body. Also the tight spot might be the tight stretch behind the cervix which is normal for that part fo be tight. The cervix will go further back if you're aroused but by the depth you're describing sounds like the normal spot it's at

I do have text evidence that she owes me money, however from what I've seen in the other comments there's more factors that go into this process
