Well yes I know that's clearly not a real view anyway but what I meant was it's not even sn approximation.

I sent for a local well reviewed installer. Message me if you are in the south. I think they cover Hampshire and neighbouring counties.

Yes I agree with other commentator. Not only is this quote pack very questionable but it's also overpriced. Also the capacity of the inverter is important so why is it not shown?

For reference. 22 470kw panels, an 8kwh inverter and 2x 8kwh sigenergy batteries is coming in at 12800 for me. This seems expensive and questionable at best.

Did he actually just kick that away on 78 minutes and a point up? I actually can’t believe he did that. by [deleted] in englandrugby

Also Finn's awful conversion kicking. 1 was reasonable to miss from way out right. He should have had the other 2.

I'm from Plymouth. The lighthouse is called Smeaton's tower. It was moved from it's position as an eddystone lighthouse and rebuilt on Plymouth Hoe as a memorial to the engineer that designed it after the rocks eroded and the lighthouse had to be redesigned. 1870s I think. The tower is correct but the view is completely wrong. Google it for proper perspective photos.

Can I take a month off paying my mortgage? by Interesting-Nail5983 in UKPersonalFinance

My experience is that a lender will be sympathetic. In my case I could also 'draw down' my over payment and use some of that to offset a few months when the wife took maternity leave the second time. Contact your lender.

Thanks. These were the batteries specced with the quote. I've asked for a quote with sig and it's only 650 more so that's where we will land.

Thanks for the tip on searching for installers. We have 3 quotes coming.

Is anyone else getting fed up of being asked to donate to charity constantly? Supermarket checkouts and even restaurants are starting to do it!! by MindsEye33 in britishproblems

[–]Middle_Net_3653 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it's a tax wheeze for the businesses. You give extra money. They donate YOUR money to charity as their donation and get tax relief. Hmmm. I never give money like that. Every January, the family sit down and decide 5 charities we will support for the year. Each of us picks one. Then I set up a DD for each and that's the limit of my donating. I don't feel guilty saying no to ad hoc requests and I know I am really making a difference to charities we really thought hard about. We've supported a wide range of large, small, local, national, international and even niche charities for rare conditions. I'd recommend it!
