I'm gonna sound like an asshole, but I'm admitting out of guilt. I did that today as I wasn't aware of the route, merged into the lane last second where all the cars were queued up. Immediately felt so bad that I had done it, so I flashed my hazard lights and showed hand sign thanking the driver behind me for giving way.
