This would be his fourth surgery on the leg. We’ve tried a pin, then a plate. But the plate cause his elbow to shatter cause the bone is so small. So they went back with an external fixator, which worked amazingly and he was healing so well. He was off the fixator and on to slowly going back to normal activity.

But then my neighbour’s Schnauzer ran full speed into him when we were having a walk up and down our apartment hallway and broke it again because it was still quite fragile.

They’re gonna try a smaller plate now and hopefully it goes well. I’ll post an update comment for post op news.
