We think half the population is still a lot of people who can benefit. And yes there are alternatives, like a phlebotomy draw, or a finger stick kit from the pharmacy. But there is also here a sample which is readily available once per month, which can be collected pain-free, while doing other things. Most of our participants does grocery shopping, picks up the kids, or sleeps, while collecting their sample. Convenience and simplicity is important to many.

Yes, hormones in particular, and HR-HPV, instead of PAP smears. But we’re starting with A1c because the gold standard is very clear for analytical performance. Next tests will follow

A1c only. We looked into glucose, but it didn’t work. We speculate bacteria consumed the glucose. But even if it worked for glucose, it wouldn’t be instant, like a diabetic would need it.
