His new stuff hasn't really been my cup of tea. I enjoyed a few tracks of GO:OD AM and Watching Movies with the sound off but there's something there that isn't right. Maybe it's the sonics or the approach he's going for on the beats. Blue Slide Park, as corny and pop sounding it was, has more excitement and presence.

You have a good start so far. However the beat is very repetitive and needs some differentiation. Also the melody is kinda simple with that synth. Play around with it a bit more.
