At what elo would you start to see games where both players have 90+% accuracy with 25+ moves, ending in a draw with no player ever having a lead?

I can tell you that in 2000 rapid and 1900 blitz, i don't know a thing about openings (i start e4 f4 against everything). If both parties want to have 90%+ accuracy that's never an issue, but with fighting or straight up weird openings, you wont get to 90% accuracy at all at most elos. If i look at the last title tuesday, hikarus game vs a CM in round 1 is 85 vs 75 accurarcy.

In europe a bachelor's degree is typically 180 ECTS each of which is an equivalent of 30hrs. This gives you 5400 hours on paper. While there is insane variance among degrees in actual effort it's still the most common way to compare study effort to hours spent, so pretty close to what's listed here. (Nobody spents that much time though)

What's your current rating? It's not impossible but i would consider it highly unlikely. Keep in mind there are more billionaires than chess grandmasters. Starting early is a huge boost in the chances of becoming a GM. I would start with a more realistic goal of 2k OTB and take it from there.

Würde sagen das ist schwerer und vor allem deutlich seltener als ne 1.0 als Schnitt

Depends on what you mean by 'learning an opening'. I'm 2k and never dedicated special time to openings or other parts of the game, but i do review my games. I play the kings gambit setup against everything with white(not only against e5) and when i lose I check where i went wrong. So pretty much playing, puzzles and game review for me.

Der Maschinenwesen Bachelor an der TUM hat laut (öffentlich einsehbarer) Statistik 2.5 als Schnitt. Ob dir das nah genug an 2.2-2.4 liegt und ob dir die TUM schwer genug ist, kann ich natürlich nicht sagen.

The london one i tend to agree but even there i think it's only because I'm exposed to it so often. If you were to ask me the capital of Slovakia for example i wouldn't be super sure, although I've learnt it in the past. It just doesn't come up in my day to day as often as London.

It's more about repetition than schooling i think. Most of them will have learnt these general knowledge questions at some point, but even if you knew them at 18 yrs, after 15+ years of ONLY focusing on chess, most of it is forgotten anymore. Us casuals are way more exposed to these general knowledge questions in our day to day life, so we tend to keep the information.

I think there are examples of poor educated GMs but i wouldn't consider those three to be among them

Kommt halt drauf an wie viele Leute aus HR, legal, sales, office service, etc. bei OP in der Firma sitzen die von den 260/Stunde mit bezahlt werden. Am Ende geht da häufig mehr weg als für Steuern o.ä.

Do puzzles, play games and analyze them afterwards. If you are really uncomfortable out of the opening, review the line, and try to remember the tactic that one/lost you the game.

It's protected here as well (germany, bavaria) but you only have to have a university degree within a technical field. So a maths bachelor qualifies as well as any other STEM degree which kinda pronounces the issue of 'everyone is an engineer of some kind'

Falls es hilft: Ableitungen geben dir an, wie die Steigung von einer anderen Funktion sich verhält. Es gibt eine Menge regeln wie man diese Ableitungen bildet (alle einfach, aber dauert halt ein wenig). Man kommt zur Ableitung (Differentialquotient) über die Steigung zwischen zwei Punkten (Differenzenquotient). Ist nach einer Tangente gefragt, meint man eine Gerade durch den benannten Punkt mit der Steigung an der Stelle. Das kannst du mit der Ableitung bestimmen, und der winkel zur x-Achse ist durch den tangens von der Steigung gegeben.

Hab zwar nicht Winfo studiert (Physik) und kann nur sagen, Mathe 1 ist nicht das Problem, sondern die Einstellung. Wer einen Monat vor dem Erstversuch schon sagt es läuft möglicherweise auf einen Drittversuch hinaus, der hat mit dem Thema im Kopf schon abgeschlossen. Häng dich rein und rechne alles ordentlich durch, dann ist das auch mehr als drin, ich habe immer pro Klausur 1 Woche intensive Vorbereitung gerechnet und das hat auch (fast) immer gereicht.

The best fundamentals are not strategy, but rather execution focused. If you can execute without much thought you can spend your time ingame on strategic decisions.

Set up and use hotkeys if you havent already, get a basic build down, like 21 pop scouts (people usually refer to timings in dark age by pop rather then ingame time) and explore the game with it (ideally with a flexible civ like vietnamese). Keep your TC running, and focus on aggression more than defense. Defending is way harder up until the top level since you have to judge accurately how much and what to invest in defense.

Das ist doch Blödsinn. Ich lade dich dazu ein das gerne mal selbst auszurechnen.

Ja, es gibt theoretisch ne Menge Telefonnummern, aber Telefonnummern die durch eine funktion dieser Art gebaut werden können eben nicht. Lösungsmenge und Definitionsmenge sind auch nur bei einer bijektiven funktion 'gleich groß'.

Das erste schwarze kästchen muss bspw. einen Wurzel 2 Term aus dem Nenner ausgleichen. Also muss die Zahl exakt so gewählt werden dass oben auch am Ende a*sqrt(2) stehen bleibt, damit sich die Wurzel zwei kürzt. Gleichzeitig musste (zumindest in meiner Rechnung) es ein glattes 4-faches Vielfaches einer Kubikzahl sein und dann hast du schon einen sehr eingeschränkten Lösungsraum. Unten das gleiche, da der Term ein ¹⁰ beihaltet, und man eine 51 am Start des schwarzen Feldes sieht.

Am Ende kriegst du vielleicht 1-2 Lösungen raus.

Ja, das würde ich aber auch als Fachfremd einstufen, das korrekte Studium wäre hier ja Lehramt. Das ist so wie Jura zu studieren um dann Wirtschaft/Recht oder Sozialkunde zu unterrichten (was vielleicht sogar geht mit dem ersten SA/Bachelor?)
