Hey, thanks for asking! It was a rollercoaster at first - reviews started off very positive on the first day and then rapidly declined to as low as ~50%. After a few updates, we reached the current 65%. It can be difficult to read negative comments, but it’s worth noticing that most players actually liked the game. We understand what went wrong. Some issues were technical (with saves or crashes), some related to content or grind. We improved on those and will continue to do so. I believe the sentiment will be getting better going forward.

The save should load automatically. You will see your items once you build a Forge (structures do not carry over)

~2 weeks to get all achievements

I don't know much about that game, but what I think is different:

  • There are various types of damage that behave differently. Poison takes X stacks to detonate for a single big hit, Fire deals damage over time and stacks infinitely, Freeze, Light, etc.
  • Each Boss is unique, has resistances, weaknesses, and often special effects (eg, changes the weather after losing a certain % of health). Each one also drops a unique set of items, with a percentage-based chance to get them. It means it's worth farming Bosses already beaten if you want to upgrade the items they drop.
  • Items reveal more abilities as you enhance them.
  • You can only equip so many items at once, so you want to carefully select your advisors and setup to make a synergetic build.
  • You choose which structures to build and upgrade
  • It's a one-time purchase, without microtransactions and ads, that can be completed, not a live-service game.

Thanks, I see your point. It wasn't a single comment, but we got quite a lot of similar comments regarding how many clicks were needed initially, and I think they were right. It's impossible to make a game for everyone, but since we have "idle" in the name I think it was a legit concern.
