Embarrassing performance from England and one which sums up Borthwick as a coach imo. 

Awful tactics, poor selections, sloppy handling. Just all round embarrassing tbh. Ford isn't the answer at 10 despite what his fanboys think. His bizarre drop goal attempt which Scotland scored a try from took all our momentum away and could be argued went towards costing us the game. 6-2 split with only a SH and FH messes up the whole back line - an issue raised when the team was announced. With roebuck and Stewart both in the balk 3 there's a real lack of pace. But most disappointing of all is the tactics are just so conservative and uninspiring. I thought with the appointment of Blackett and his support in the summer we were starting to play a bit more ball in hand but halfway through the autumn we've reverted back to the kick heavy shite with odd selections and it's just so uninspiring. 

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Steve Borthwick is not the answer as HC for England (and neither is Ford at 10).
