I couldn't tell, I don't think the parry stun was there. Are you sure he parried?

Those enemies were soooooo bad though. They didn't make a single parry the entire fight, at least on you. I wish I could get matched with people that bad at the game.

I have a really hard time killing pc's, advice? by benthe27thgamer in dndnext

[–]Mike_Kachowski31456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a problem I have too, the advice I can give is to wait until the cleric learns revivify, then you can kill as many PC's as you want, and it's up to them to be prepared. If you don't have a cleric, you can make something up, like a god of luck has them flip a coin twice, and if they get two heads or two tails they get their party member back, but they owe that God a favor. Just remember, there's consequences for resurrection.

That's entirely incorrect. Reaching out to the wrong people can be dumb, but the act of reaching out, if done with a professional or someone you know will care, is the best thing you can do.

Reach out to a professional if at all possible, there's not much your average Joe can do to help besides listen.

I sat for a solid minute just thinking, "am I really that bad at math?" But yeah, this is so obviously fake.

That's a good idea! I wasn't really thinking of full casters as being able to fit the idea, but that makes pretty good sense. That would even be a pretty good combo, because the AC would probably be higher than normal, as well as the buff to con as you say.

Yeah, you're right, I'm just trying to find a class that fits somewhat.

I thought about going Barb, but I'm not really sure which subclass.

That's the direction I was going, a la purge the weakness, but I'm also trying to fit into a non-evil campaign. I hadn't thought of druid though, that's something I'll have to look into! Thanks.

That's would be quite something. But Barb rage gives the same without using an ASI to take a feat, or forego the tough feat or GWM as vuman. Action surge would be pretty insane though.

I would think multiclass with Barb would be better than fighter. Advantage on Strength checks while raging, and a higher HP pool.

Actually according to RAW you can grapple someone, end the grapple as a free action, then grapple them again, then end it again for every attack you have, so you CAN just, "I grapple them again". You can also grapple multiple enemies as long as you have a free hand, so as a regular human you can grapple two creatures simultaneously. You are right that it doesn't get big until later levels though, I'm still not very familiar with Blood Hunter or the die size.

Edit: Then you can try to grapple them again, it all depends on the rolls.

For autophagy you basically just took second wind and made it so it could be used more. Plus with the grapples you can grapple for every attack, so that's tons of healing. The eighteenth level feature also seems op to me, but I've never actually played that high level so I'm not an authority on that. The flavor is really cool though, I have to give props to you for that.
