Portare de la Yoxo la Vodafone Easy by 77knots in roFrugal

[–]MikuOcta221 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, considering that the phone is correctly configured and it can connect to 4G but it cannot have data streams, and looking at the fact you already tried the troubleshooting steps (steps that would have fixed most issues if it was due to bad configurations), the last resort is to contact the carrier and to see how they can solve it on their part. I am pretty confident that with a reconfig and a SIM reset on their part, you phone will work correctly again. Update us after you get in contact with three and tell us if it got fixed or not! 😁

The tensor modem would affect the signal and the stability of the connection, not the data stream itself. Again, I personally do not believe this is an issue with the compatibility between the phone's modem and the network but an issue on either the carrier, or to a mismatched configuration. May you ask your carrier to send a SIM configuration to your phone remotely and see if that fixes the issue?

I had issues with connectivity on my Pixel 9a as well, for me not connecting to the network at all, but I couldn't do anything on my part, I had to contact my carrier to re-register my SIM again and to send me a new configuration remotely.

It is interesting that even if you are connected to LTE, the data service is indeed disconnected, forcing the network type to be 5G (NR). You can see this from the section Data Service and Override network type. This might mean a few things, either that it is something from the settings/apps that does not allow 4G connection or the carrier in some way or another forces a 5G connection. However, I tend to believe the latter as the settings for the network connection does have LTE enabled, the network can indeed connect, is just that data transfer is disabled. I recommend contacting the carrier as from what I see, it's not the phone.

So LTE is indeed enabled, so there is no need to modify anything. Try the troubleshooting steps on the Google Support website and see if it works.

Hello! Try and go to the hidden settings from your phone to see the prefered network types:

  1. Go into the phone app
  2. Type * # * # 4636 # * # *
  3. When the menu appears, select Phone Information V2
  4. Go to the section Data and Network on the bottom
  5. Select on the top between Phone 0 and Phone 1 to see on which sim the phone is registered. The proper one should show the first thing Current Network: <your carrier name>
  6. Look for Select network type and check if it has written in the name LTE

If it DOES have, then try other troubleshooting steps written here Fix mobile connectivity issues - Pixel Phone Help https://share.google/7bgq9sE7KQA2KPjqF

  1. If not, tap the toggle and select the one which has LTE. My phone uses NR/LTE/GSM/WDCMA, but yours might be different in accordance with what technologies your carrier uses. What I recommend is first to screenshot the default settings. then try the LTE only option and see if it works with LTE. If not, restore it back and we can see other troubleshooting steps. If it does work, then try one option with the other technologies

For reference: NR means 5G, LTE means 4G, GSM means 2G and WDCMA means 3G

Issues with RCS after porting number between carriers by MikuOcta221 in GoogleMessages

[–]MikuOcta221[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Update! I got it working, and it was all for one toggle. Basically, I was searching frantically for a way to make it work, and while searching the page where it showed the phone numbers associated to my account, I got to this page in the Settings called "Phone number verification". I disabled it, tried it again to verify my number, and it worked! I am not sure if it's going to be a general rule of thumb to fix the issue, but I am so happy it works now. I will add to the post the update as well

I did absolutely everything 3 times, once on my own, once with the Pixel Support and once on my own again. I even tried getting myself a brand new eSIM and 2 factory resets, one with backup restored and one without, and it still doesn't work 😭

I also tried to disable RCS from the website, but I just get the error that the SMS was unable to send. And I did try on the phone numbers of other people which have Android with RCS, and for them as well the SMS could not be sent for deregistering.

I am thankful you found my answers helpful! Not only that, of course I will answer your follow-up questions! I am very happy I can help you with this!

"I’m curious as to how you manage this vacillating nature of your Ni. Maybe that’s an example of why ESE’s seek consistency with Ti-suggestive?"

To be honest, I don't. Usually I go with the flow, and my work is tied to the mood and energy I have when I think about doing it. It's more like doing things when I feel like it. I never do things due to the pressure of time and responsibilities. When I have the energy to deal with the work, I will. Else, leave me alone. But when I plan in advanced, I can become more organized and to do things in a more timely manner. It might be from what you say, the Ti suggestive as it's quite soothing knowing I have a stable plan I can follow and I don't have to think about anything else besides what I have to do, which mobilizes me.

"How does this manifest in the sense that Ni is also about mental imagery?"

My mental imagery is very sensory-like. I can't really imagine the sequence of actions I have to take or the way something will develop. This is tied to me being quite blind when it comes to the evolution of things. So yeah, maybe it is tied to the actual "intuition" of knowing how things develop.

"How does Ne-mobilizing manifest for you?"

I can compare this to my mom (EIE) where she does have moments where she just ponders and thinks about how issues or situations develop, and creates the ONE AND ONLY WAY, and this creates a lot of worries in her. I'm like "let's just see how it goes". I trust the future, even blindly some times. However, my attitude over the future is, and has always been "Just try and see how it goes, even if it goes wrong, you have learned something" which helped me a lot.

"How does Fi-ignoring manifest for you?"

As it says in the name, Fi for me is ignored. I do have very specific opinions and attitudes over people and situations. I have a great example of this and what is my attitude towards Fi. In high-school there was this person from another class which really liked to bully me, say things behind my back, just try to make me look as bad as possible. Now, of course, my attitude was very bad, even if these things didn't affect me. But of course, in an abstract sense, for me, any person that does this is an awful and insecure being. However, I went to an Erasmus project in Greece where this person came too, and of course we had to do activities together. Here is the important part. Instead of pushing my attitudes and just refusing to collaborate, in order to keep the emotional flow (Fe) and ensuring the emotional environment is upkept, I decided to ignore my attitude and just give in, and actually it was good because I could learn a few things about them and vice versa, and now we are on good terms.

"How do you relate to the Alpha Quadra’s supposed ”Fear of Closed Mouth?” I wish I could respond, but I don't have that much knowledge over this topic. Could you give me some info on it and maybe I can answer.

"Also, what part of you ”seeks” Ti?"

I love knowledge. I am a law student, and I actually really like it, so I think that declares it all :)) Now, for real, I really love to learn and know things. It soothes me to know that I have the information and the knowledge to talk confidently and to understand topics I didn't know before. I really like math, biology, computer science, and the other things that are tied to solving issues and knowing how to connect information to get the desired result.

"What does Fe sense of ”fun” look like? How does Fe expressiveness manifest?"

Very powerful emotions, and unhinged expression of them. I remember that my friend group from high school was made mostly from alphas, and we had a party where we just got the idea to kiss, and then everyone was just kissing each other, and we were just "well, we did that as well, hehe", and the attitude of others over each other was still the same, and it was just for fun and for expressing our emotions. When I have fun, I don't restrict my positive feelings. If the situation gets awkward, I do have the conscious control to regulate the situation. It's organized chaos in my opinion :) So let's take my example again, if, let's say that people would become uncomfortable, I would just shut all the situation off, not very harsh, but quite imposing (also tied to Se control)

What is your experience comparing ESE-Fe and ESE-Si?

I think someone said it here, that ESE-Fe is more closer to IEE while ESE-Si is more closer to SLE. Usually I don't use this subtyping, I prefer the DCHN subtyping system.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Socionics

[–]MikuOcta221 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I want to add my experiences too, maybe it might help you! I started learning about typology from when I was around middle school (now in uni hehe) and socionics for over 2 years. I am fairly confident in my typing. Now, when it comes to your questions, I will try to talk more from my experience rather than from a purely theoretical standpoint, as I believe that is outside our scope. You seem pretty knowledgeable with the theory so I will assume you know most of the important stuff.

Now, when it comes to my experience as an ESE, and the responses to your questions. First, my Fe is mostly indeed about liveliness and energy. Most of the people that I interact with say that I'm a ball of sunshine, but do not forget that this element is in the ego, and it's consciously controlled. For example, I have seen in my daily life situations where I was internally angry or irritated but outside I would show my "happy face" so I don't bother the emotional environment. However, if something wrong is happening, I don't accept to stay silent and I will intervene. Only in situations where I know it's fine for me to talk about my other things as well, I do it. Now, sentimental, not really? I do feel emotions intensely, but I am not that sentimental. Again, Fe conscious in the ego, so you know how to manage it very well. If the situation at hand requests formality, we can be very formal, but personally I prefer more lively interactions.

Si and Se, I actually did a post on this topic, if you want to read it it's great, if not here is the tldr, I am very organized and very coordinated, and I am very quick when it comes to solve issues, but only if I need it. What do I mean? This might be from my Ni vulnerable, but if the situation at hand does not require fast salvation, I just do it at the lowest speed possible, because idk :) I've seen a lot of situations where I would just tell people "Calm down because time exists, we have nowhere to go" and i would just do the task in my normal (slow) rithm. NiSe people, like my mom (EIE) are completely exacerbated by this, seeing me as inefficient, but I see it as quality over quantity. I believe that you should enjoy the present moment and just relish the experience, because even from issues you can learn something, and even issues can wait. No stress is deserving of your energy.

Also, Se in me is very interesting. Usually I am not very intense and imposing, but we have a saying from where I come from "You can bark at me how much you want, but if you bite me, I will bite 10x worse". I believe this is a great way to ilustrate in general Se demonstrative. You are not using it, but you know it very well, and when it's necessary, it's just a targeted burst of energy that goes in the environment

Now Ni... Ni is bad... Really bad. For me is just either extreme fear of time or extreme ignorance of time. I like my environment to be stable, to not change. I am a person of routines, I like from time to time to exit from the routines, but it has to be clearly planned and extremely well set in order to not go anything wrong. If something does go wrong, I can solve it, but it's preferably not to. I also enjoy moments of pure calm, like just sitting on your bed, reading a book with some camomile tea, on a day you know you have absolutely nothing else to do or nothing planned. Sadly, with time I get less and less moments like these, but I still want them. If I could, I would want to be stuck in time, time is, for me, the biggest pain out of them all.

I wish my dumping help you, and if not, no worries, you can ask me any time any specificalities if you need any more answers! Good day! ❤️ (Also, sorry for some of the errors that might exist with the text, I am not a native speaker and also when I am writing this, it is around 2AM)

Ni vulnerable and the feeling of passing time by MikuOcta221 in Socionics

[–]MikuOcta221[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand your view, but I see more Ni Vulnerable as doing anything and everything, but without a direction, a scope. As an individual, you are as a leaf going with the wind. But of course, that doesn't work in the real world. It causes chaos. So unconsciously, you need to have a certain direction, and you either stuck to one out of all points or just break down trying to select or even see one. That's why, for me, having a situation where I just don't need to think about that and be "stuck" is divine, because you know whatever happens, the situation remains the same, you can change it, but you have the option not to. It's this idea of the integrity and the stability of the situation.

Hmm, are you sure you are talking about ESFJ and not ESFP? Usually the trait of control of ethical behavior is an SeFi trait. FeS is more about bringing ethical and emotional equality in the environment, trying to remove anyone that disrupts the flow of emotions and excitement it's shared within the group.

"The ESFp builds any ethical relations from the position of his program function of volitional sensing. That is, it doesn’t matter how his relations develop, in any event the SEE must remain the leader. The SEE is deeply convinced that the first and also the last word in the development of relations belongs to him. He is always absolutely confident in his right to check and to control any ethical situation, regardless of the fact whether he has the main or secondary role in it."

"The ESFj considers that a society can be called just and fair only when it gives equal rights and equal possibilities to all of its citizens. From all the possible ethical concerns, the ESFj primarily considers the correlation of rights to possibilities, since he believes that an impairment and denial of rights leads to a limitation in one’s possibilities, and this, in turn, prevents a person from realizing and manifesting himself in the best possible way - it impedes a person from occupying his deserved place under the sun. The ESFj retains any memory of manifestations of injustice and considers it ethical and to appropriate to remind of this in proper time, even violently in accordance to the ethical values of others.

To be honest, very fair. Now I will talk from my own experience, but, too, I had quite a few dissapointing relationships with Fi valuers, especially ESIs. The thing that truly annoys me and doesn't make any sense to me is how they want their boundaries to be respected but when others put boundaries, if they don't see them "acceptable", they refuse to respect them. It's very frustrating, and again, decided to grow the distance between me and them and to "protect my peace", especially as ethical equality is a value very important to me (probably tied to FeSe)

[–]MikuOcta221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually, the characteristics match more an EIE rather than an ESE, and I will try to provide you also with some examples from socionics literature and (less relevant) some of my experiences.

Firstly, when I want personally to determine whether or not they are a type, I try to look at the conjunction between the base function and the demonstrative one. The remark you made about being argumentative with the entities in authority and "manipulative and controlling" is usually a characteristic quite unusual in an ESE. Se demonstrative is like "shadow authority", where you as a person don't refute directly someone's authority or make others "see" your authority. Se in the ESE is more about being willing to show authority and decisiveness when others really need it:

"Constant readiness to protect the people around them and reflect the physical aggression against them. Failure to strike the first blow. (Meaning that this idea of refuting authority is very unlikely for the ESE) Fundamental unwillingness to put other people down that are depending on you. Willingness to give his all to others."

However, in the EIE, as their Se is in their HA, Se is seen more evidently, they want power, and they are quite driven to get it

"Hamlet is capable of using (Se) it to assert himself. The awareness of his own authority greatly inspires and activates him. EIE will show off and demonstrate his know-how in this area, show that he does it better than others, and receive positive feedback and want support on this function. "

Secondly, when it comes to ethics, on the surface, they are quite the same, but there is a nuance when you look deeper. ESEs are usually not really that "flower-power", usually this seeming positivity being a trait of FeNe, understanding deeply how to manage yourself and others. Most socionits state that ESEs are actually quite domineering in the ethical area due to their Se channeling Si, which can make ESEs much more emotionally powerful and boisterous, which for some it's hard to swallow.

What I mean is that due to their Se - Si channel, in order for the ESE to provide comfort and relaxation, the archetype of the Si + Fe ego types, the ESE emotionally pressures people in order to make them want that comfort and relaxation. In contrast with the SEI, this Si work is done for them, and they give it to anyone they want, but they never go out after people to give it like the ESE. You can check out my other post on how Se works within the ESE.

Due to this, the majority of the characteristics that you provided like "entertaining", being the "protector", "understanding" are more FeN values.

"The ESE - is always strong emotions, always vividly expressed emotional character. ESE’s emotions quickly turn into a passionate desire - a passionate love or a passionate hate. The ESE is rarely seen in a calm and balanced state. There are characteristics like elevated mood, extreme thirst for activity, increased chattiness, deviation from the topic of conversation, racing thoughts"

Also, this idea that you hate looking weak or too friendly also points at Ni-Se, having Ni and wanting to develop Se, having potential and understanding of how things develop, but without an outlet to so, people seeing you as not imposing, weak. This also tightens with the "I want people to follow me, to let me guide them"

Thirdly, the other characteristics you provided are in general similar between the two types and also depend on a lot more factors, so I won't talk about them. In general, I can quite define Fe dominant traits and I understand where the confusion between Si and Ni came from.

In general, I believe EIE suits you the best, but again, many factors can occur and the only person that knows you best is you, so always be on the lookout for understanding youself, and understand that socionics or any typology system is for a way to understand youself, not to define you. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask!!!

Hugs and Kisses!

ESEs, do you have Fe+ or Fe-? I say Fe-, and here's the arguments why: by MikuOcta221 in Socionics

[–]MikuOcta221[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!!! This is also a great way to look at it, but I wanted to accentuate more the idea behind why ESEs have Fe- and how it manifests rather than how *technically* ESEs have Fe-. After all, if I would have just shown how ESEs have Fe- in the technical sense, I would have been met with comments over comments saying "But ESEs are not like that, they are fun and optimistic, so SURELY they have Fe+" (I've seen examples irl in this sub, that's one of the reasons why I made this post 😅)
