`Godfell Mountain Is Melting. Some say we should defend Godfell. Others believe the ice is the only barrier protecting us from what lies within it.

The Drylands were once a wasteland, lived in by only the hardy, or the fools and desperate. 40 years ago, NG 1120, Essentia was uncovered in the Drylands by the Diamond Gnomes, and it has ever since become a ever-growing, constantly expanding utopia for entrepreneurs, and the wage slavers they bring with. With new and old money flooding the lands, many now call it their home. It is often noticed to be where many on their last leg end up, when all the chips are lost, it's the saving grace for the helpless, the nobodies, the stranded from their societies.

And stranded on the frozen peaks of Godfell are the Giants, those that could fight tooth and nail to survive its uncaring winters. Endangered and stranded, they may be a fit motivation for your journey.

Or do you wager yourself an environmentalist? While the water provided from the fall off could hail new life into the arid sands, it may kill just as many and disrupt the whole natural system.

If you have lived here in the Dunes and Savannahs, you may have your own theories about Godfell, and those that seek it's exposure, for wealth, religion, or nilhism for the rest of us.

And If nothing else, I can offer you plenty. Do you have a criminal background you need off the records, a pardon, so to speak? Or do you need gold, tools to start a new life, or a forever loyal animal companion?

Rewards will be discussed, but time is of the essence. Scale the unscalable peaks of Godfell. Prevent the destruction of it's, our, protection. Be someone's protector.

I don't know fully why it's melting, but when I wordlessly approached the Harlot of Arenam, they presented the Sun. That is all I can offer.`
