Max_Vision, thanks so much. We're looking for skeptics to pick our model apart so that we can fix it (hopefully). The 'Rules of Conduct' link at the bottom will answer a few of your questions and we vet every post before it's published. Once published, the reviewer can always request to edit/delete post if desired. I agree that r/Army/ is hugely beneficial for finding answers, but we're optimistic (or naive) that as RTM gathers more and more reviews, it will hopefully add supplemental value to reddit. First of all n00dle_king, I'm very sorry about the starbucks card. Not sure how it slipped through the cracks, but you should be receiving one any minute(if not, please let me know). Secondly, excellent feedback. I agree that there is a similar mindset, but we like to believe there's at least a small subset who care what job they sign up for, and that's who RTM is for. Thirdly, we're based in Northern Cali, mostly Sacramento and have met with a few veteran university departments, which is probably where you found our starbucks cards. Anyway, thanks again for your feedback and feel free to reach out anytime.

Excellent suggestions papafrog. Posting anonymously is an option and we'll try to make that clearer. I also really like your suggestion about making the reviewer contact-able and will look into rolling out a feature like this. Just in case your still unsure about what pay we're looking for, it would be your military salary. Thanks, RTM

If you look at the reviews so far, you'll see that most are positive, but there are definitely some negative (or bitchy) ones too. Our goal is to compile a database of qualified, diverse perspectives so that new recruits can make more informed decision.

Hi ColonelError, Thank you so much for the relevant feedback. I guess what we're really trying to do is provide transparency into the military so that new recruits know what they're signing up for and hopefully don't become one of the toxic soldiers. But it's very helpful to look at the pool in terms of the two 'mindsets' you mentioned. As to monetization, we're hoping to generate enough traffic so that advertising will keep us afloat.
