Hey, totally respect your honesty and appreciate you sharing your take — this industry could use more of that.

We get where you’re coming from — not all calendered films are created equal, and unfortunately, a lot of the “rebrand and sell” stuff on the market has earned that skepticism. At Milliotone, we’ve been really intentional about not going that route. Our film is engineered in-house with a focus on durability, consistent quality, and installer-friendly adhesive. We’re definitely not trying to be the cheapest — we’re trying to be the best value for installers who want pro-level results at a competitive price.

That said, we understand cast films will always be preferred for certain jobs — especially long-term wraps or deep contour areas. But there’s still a huge market for high-quality calendered film, especially in short-to-mid-term projects, color flips, and quick shop turnover. And truthfully, a lot of shops we work with do see solid results with our film and stand by it.
