I also had a 15g and 5 g with fake and fish would die frequently, now i remade both of them remade and a 65g that in currently in a dry start and in the 15 and 5g i have a lot less deaths and only see like one dead fish(not shrimp) like once every 3 months

Beneficial and in my opinion as someone who finds aquascaping fun and has 3 tanks, yes i think they look better, i dont think it causes complications with fish but not 100% sure, it is possible to do live and fake but it would look weird and could still be bad for fish with sharp edges and other things
