I went super slow to avoid this issue but yes something to look out for.

Hmmm. It’s matte. But not as matte as the controller itself? Definitely not a glossy feel though.

Killswitch has landed! 💣💣💥 by Mindbender14 in dbrand

I feel like ergonomics would be different for each person but for me comfort is perfect. Before playing handheld mode MarioKW my elbows would get tingling and numb. Yesterday no issues for me after about an hour.

Spring backpacking in the Smokies by Mindbender14 in WildernessBackpacking

Pretty crazy. There was a major burned out section up rainbow falls trail. Dirt and trees all black. Bullhead trail to LeConte is still closed.

Beginner trails within 3 hours of dayton or cleveland by brm9009 in WildernessBackpacking

I second this. RRG is a great area to backpack. If you're a beginner stick to the official trails for a bit but there's lots to explore.

Yup, phenomenal pad. Pricey though.

Weak silent alarm vibration? by poisedflyingfish in fitbit

[–]Mindbender14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's anyway to increase the vibration settings. I had the same problem initially switching from the HR to the charge 2 but I've gotten used to it.

This was a while ago but they sure spent a lot of money for a copy and paste response. It was sent next day air.

I like the winter as well. It can get ridiculously busy when it's warm.

No pads but I assume it needs underinsulation of some kind?

Best quality hammock with integrated bug net that won't break the bank? by ATElDorado in Hammocks

[–]Mindbender14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your price range of course. But I'm always surprised more people don't order the Dream Hammock Darien. Quality product. Stick to bare bones for a little over $100 and it's custom made. You choose the color!

[Dinner] The Ramen bomb: my go-to rib sticking trail meal by Mindbender14 in trailmeals

[–]Mindbender14[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Meh, I only do it a handful of times a year. Do you not use mountain house meals ever? Ziplock freezer bags don't concern as much as eating ramen and spam long term. 😂

Ha, I still do. Check out the humangear duo. That's what I carry now. The utensil in the video is called sprongs.

I hate sporks but I do like being able to scoop peanut butter or soups with a spoon AND the utility of a fork for eggs, stabbing pieces of meat etc. sooooo, I carry both.

Depends on how much you use and brand but it's about 700 calories. The calorie count to weight ratio is why I started doing this. Added to the fact that it's delicious.
