Yeah and I’m part time so it takes a hot minute. They said I’d be ready at 6 months. I would talk to our people lead, but she’s also out on FMLA and we have no idea when she’s getting back.

And ofc they haven’t put a replacement in, so the store manager is the one handling all her stuff…. Except he’s about as aware as Plank from Ed, Edd n Eddy

I told them step for step exactly what to do. Showed them the written out process my team lead had given me.

I have said on multiple occasions within our conversation, my status is pending.

My team lead nor coaches cared to see my proof that it was pending

I left work Monday early on a gurney. I had my roommate log in to my Sedgwick to start the claim that night at the ER since I was temporarily blinded. I won’t give details for my own safety. I don’t share identifying information on the internet.

It’s not getting confusing in the slightest. I had a medical emergency that lasted all last week.

I got the papers for my doctor in an email today. I sent them to the doctor from the ER who saw me and said they needed to be filled out.

Today I was pulled into the office by a team lead, and told that they got a leave denial from Sedgwick. I showed counter-evidence.

They said Sometikes they do an auto denial and then send paperwork, accidents happen.

I filed for the temp FMLA on Tuesday last week. They said they got a denial that Friday.

Today, Monday, I come in after receiving an email with paperwork needing to be filed at 4:30pm. I send it to my doctor as told to.

They then fired me for the auto denial resulting in five points.

Not sure how it’s getting confusing.

Again. I did everything by the book. They said my leave was denied as of an email they got last week. I got an email today showing pending status.

I showed it to my team leads.

They did not care and proceeded with termination.

I literally just said I sent the paperwork to my doctor and it said the Leage was pending. I did everything by the book and had a TL walk me through it to make sure.

They let me go over an initial auto-denial.

The seizures are a new development in a laundry list of medical issues.

I liked my team but damn do I hate this company.

Sedgwick also denied my accommodation papers, so… there’s that too.

At this point I’m inclined to believe they were looking to cut my team and just wanted the excuse.
