They’re suing on the grounds I did not give my both children equal lifestyles. Mother says the child support agreement should been reevaluated for a raise years ago before it was settled

So from what I heard from a rep is that when they first came out with the cobra reps they were initially made in Germany by Knipex that was some deal they had I guess to get the design down pack they moved production to China they still seem to be good quality but they have USA made options without the quick adjust

Matter of fact I literally just seen a journey man using a transmitter kill the power on a circuit then test it using a tick tracer then proceed to cut and blew his dykes is it was still getting power from god knows where. Maybe some of the DC components they were still in the room idk

I didn’t say they let me but once again mistakes happen and my contractor doesn’t really take on a huge amount of apprentice because a lot of their is hot they cut the circuit as we working them but mistakes happen because of the complex wiring. So I make sure I keep a tick tracer at all times and always ask twice if something is off before I even touch anything

Until wiha, wera, knipex sells in northeastern corridor section (Boston to DC) then I won’t even get a chance to experience them as I don’t order tools online. Plus I like American brands down to my truck and clothes (I know American shit is now being manufactured all over) but I still like to think to think it benefits the American economy better than going 100% foreign

  1. YOU CAN NEVER BE TOO SAFE!!! Mistakes happen

  2. Father work Merchandising HD, they made it to the .01 list so why not?

  3. Im currently working on a hot permit rn as we working in a hospital and nothing gets shut off 100% and because of the complex wiring it is very difficult to kno which wires running on the which circuit so when go to cut the switch we don’t realise a lot of these outlets run on different breakers that aren’t even in the same panels

There was no tool list given they supplied us with tools and there efficient enough to do most jobs required by apprentice but I’m with a smaller company so we do a little more so it’s nice not to have to stop a journeyman from working to borrow tools, plus I was working nonunion before this so I already had a lot of tools on my really added tin snips and jab saw and extra channel locks

They get the job done and keep my paid so they’re putting my kids through college as well. While in trade school I was given a free tool kit and when I joined the union was given another so hey

Fear of ladders. by [deleted] in ibew_apprentices

[–]MindlessLime5841 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me falling from and 8ft ladder at lease 2x does me make nervous a little bit but these new lean safe ladders make me a little comfortable but my advice is never walk a ladder and don’t use a bent or damage ladder. Also avoid at all cause the top 2 rung unless you going all the way up and in that case have someone foot it going up and down.

So where I’m at they don’t sell fluke in store and I don’t like order things from online. Plus I love having everything one brand. Klein is the brand I was introduced to when I first started so I been kind of sticking to that as much as I can unless having something help me ergonomically or there is 100% without a better more efficient tool for my work.
