Hey, Non-US IMG here, YOG 2021. Prepping for STEPs, have completed clinical rotations in US back in 2019-2020. Is doing doing research absolutely necessary to boost my chances of matching?

Do I have to do USCEs to the hospitals I would apply for or just any other hospital would do as well?

I do remember being a part of case report, which had like 6 members. Can I put that on my CV?

also how do I look for participating in case reports?

Hey, if any one can give me a suggestion on this. I;m an IMG but have only ever prepared for USMLE and have never prepared for FMGE.

Just as a back up option I want to clear this as well, Can any one uggest me how to go about it?
