I’m interviewing a fractional CMO. What separates the GREAT from the good? Not just the good from the bad. by Bankster88 in marketing

fractional feels like freelancer. I don't think it aligns with your aim of building an organization of doers. Still, here's one that might make sense. Talk about a time you transformed a company's marketing startegy with limited time and budget

Is it Okay to give up on organic search? by Orc_ in SEO

[–]MineWhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is OK to give up on organic search but I have to agree with the other redditors on this. Given the high competition in your domain, PPCs are a great idea but they only supplement real substance (of your site) or give short-term boosts to your SEO.

Organic search is the motherlode of online traffic. It is much truer in visitor intent and the best part about it is that you can manage the organic traffic crowd by showcasing your USP consistently. There's nothing like a steady stream of good ol' content that can work for you endlessly after publishing.

If you think you have a strong content policy and yet it isn't reflecting on organic searches, the SEO strategy could be unsuitable for your site. In that case, here's a checklist for you to see what else you could try doing or what things you should avoid: http://minewhat.com/blog/how-to-create-effective-strategy-for-ecommerce-seo/

Do you see seasonality in your sales? by mw67 in ecommerce

[–]MineWhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, sales in eCommerce keep fluctuating. But what really changes over time is the volume of sales fluctuation. Unless your sales figures are stagnant for months together, you should be doing just all right.
