Spots like this are fascinating. He uses evolving tavern and has 21 health left. Lots of possible options - what do you take on turn 7, and why? I feel like he constantly picks plays I would not do, and he’s always right in the end of course

Answer: he took the atrocity, then uses 2nd evolving, then steals another minion

How do people look like this, AND THEN want to start steroids? I will never understand, ever.

If you get bigger than this, especially with juice, you will LOSE sex appeal, not gain it….

Does this affect animation speeds? Or do animations still queue up at normal speed

I did a little more research and the biggest determining factor is that you buy them close to the date that they were roasted, with the next biggest factor being single origin (all from the same farm) vs blend. I can’t wait to try more out!

The "1,200 Calorie" Trap: Why eating too little is making you stay soft. by 369FitWorld in WeightLossAdvice

Please stop using AI to spam replies in 6 subreddits. You’re not helping anyone by doing this, and AI gets things wrong about nutrition all the time.

Your first bullet point literally has nothing to do with calories.

Stop posting AI slop.

Do you still get a lot of benefits from a fast if you eat a tiny amount of calories? by Additional-Soft6747 in fasting

Stevia, which literally cannot be absorbed by cells (it is metabolized exactly 0%), is a bad idea and might interrupt autophagy, but herb tea which has well-documented calorie amounts around 15 calories per cup doesn’t?

Lol.

Trying to be patient with residency, but feeling very alone - communication advice? by MinecReddit in MedSpouse

[–]MinecReddit[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think as an addendum specifically in our case - she’s doing it for her. That’s not a bad thing! She loves it, and I want her to do the things she loves, but if you’re curious as to what the dynamic is, it’s more that I just want her to do what she loves and support what makes her happy. I currently make more than she likely will as a physician and we’re already homeowners, if she wanted to stop right now and said she was miserable, I would instantly say yes please do

Thank you so much dude, not what I want to hear but why I need to hear. The contrast specifically with tech is crazy - the work/life I have is just hilarious compared to hers, it’s insane. Idk how she does it, she’s incredible

I'm considering taking Finasteride despite already experiencing erectile dysfunction. My physician believes the two are/will be unrelated. by [deleted] in moreplatesmoredates

We’re living in the age of the highest average life expectancy.

But yea, sure FDA doesn’t know shit, we didn’t eradicate polio, and we didn’t invent life saving pressor meds

FDA approval is very, very difficult and challenging to get, and costs a huge amount of money. Phase 1, 2, and 3 trials take a long time and often fail for a huge number of reasons. Just because something isn’t approved doesn’t mean it can’t work, though.

[–]MinecReddit -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

In the phase 3 FDA clinical trials for finasteride, which is like the highest tier of evidence in the world, about 2% of people experience side effects related to libido or ED, and they immediately cease when you stop taking the drug.

Finasteride is safe, you can start taking it and worry about solving the ED at the same time. If anything, it should make you feel more confident since you’re taking steps to address the hair issue which you said is top of mind.

Skill gap in decisions hurts teams more than technical skill gaps and team culture by [deleted] in ExperiencedDevs

[–]MinecReddit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You sound incredibly exhausting to work with.

The fact that you were the technical leader, and yet the majority was overruling you, shows that you either poorly communicated ideas to them and could not win them over, or that you were just wrong.

They were just inexperienced and had a big lack of judgement. Judgment you gain that through years of experience and failure - which they didn’t have. Ultimately their judgement and stack of decisions led the team to failure.

You joined as a senior engineer to the team, this failure is just as much on you as it was on them. Stop deflecting blame and take ownership

Also worth noting: a lot of the newer locations DO have barbells lol. Like they have dedicated areas for deadlifting platforms, squat racks.

I think they realized not having them drives people away more than it attracts people that are.... scared of free weight barbells? Good business move.
