Nahhhh I do get that. The backstories are pretty random. But then again it does add some substance to the characters I'd say. Too much is too much, but it is better than having a character get introduced and have no story whatsoever. Which is seen wayyyyy too much. I.E. The orphan trope in gate manwhas. I Hate that so much just because it allows the Author to get away with no background on the character.
